Haven’t really watched any Palace so I don’t have a fair assessment of the lad. What is the special element to his game that makes him such a sure bet after one season? Mostly asking because I’ve seen a lot of young players on a good season hyped as the “next big thing” on this site and others, and about 2/3 of the time they seem to deeply disappoint especially after changing clubs.

He’s not Trippier or Aurier

Soooo good at defending.

Great at swinging a leg round and taking the ball.

Looking at that compilation has anybody considered that he might be too good with the ball to be a fullback

Is he just that good and that mobile that he makes taking the ball off seasoned top 4 forwards look simple but in fact he could play anywhere on the pitch (with perhaps the exception of striker ) ?

Dare I say it but he has a touch of the Gareth Bale about him. Great close control then push it past and ignite the afterburners

He was so damn good in the game against us at home.

Arsenal away too from the looks of it.

What a player this kid is.

If we want to talk about 'doing a Liverpool' and turning our biggest weaknesses into our strengths then Wan-Bissaka and Ndombele are the two signings we need to go all out for.

We know how good his defensive stats are, we know he is a great young athlete, and looking at that video it seems he can certainly pass and dribble.

The problem will be pricing and competition from the big boys in Manchester.

Is he the most right footed player ever? Left foot only for standing on?

Was going to post earlier, apparently Palace are interested in signing Clyne. Could be media talk, could be connected to this. Clyne is a Palace boy so it makes sense.

You sure it's not Newcastle. o_O

The fog on the Clyne is all mine, all mine
The fog on the Clyne is all mine

The fog on the Clyne is all mine, all mine

Yeah...I know. Already grabbed my feckin coat. :censored:

I've wanted this guy for ages but thought he would be snapped up by city.

He's actually a converted winger. This article is worth a read: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-crystal-palace-interview-best-tackler-europe

They’re going to want £60m plus and I don’t think we’ll be offering anywhere near there

Well he aint going anywhere then - fair play to Palace, I'd do exactly the same thing.

I admire Palace to an extent, taking a stance and demanding top dollar for their prized assets.

However, a sense of realism is also needed or they might just end up with a few disgruntled players in the not too distant future.
