What was Jose talking about us not getting as much respect as other teams, he was rambling a bit - was he talking about the fixture list?

I see Liverpool play pretty much the same players every game and play with intensity looool why does our fans always make shit excuses and then say “you don’t understand football”

I'm sure when Liverpool were shafted with a tight game schedule Klopp threw a tantrum and sent a youth team to get battered 5-0 in the league cup?

WE’VE PLAYED LIKE THIS PRETTY MUCH EVERY GAME WITH JOSE FFS
You don't handle being angry at a result very well do you. I get you're disappointed but to look anywhere other than VAR and how it's ruining football is just wrong.

We could have done this, we should have done that. We played well enough to have won three games, we just didn't take our chances and then got fucked over by something that pretty much everyone agrees is killing, absolutely killing football. So Dier, Mourinho, tactics whatever, come on, seriously........In THIS game, we were fucked over, what went before has fuck all to do with it. Have your rant but for me, you'd do better aiming it at the right things.

Yeah I think he meant other big teams would have got some respect from the FA or EFL to make life a bit easier this last few weeks, but we don’t get that respect.

Not the same situation. Liverpool played in the Club World Cup in Qatar and next day had a Carabao cup game against Villa, so he had to chose a game to play the first team players

Mate I respect your opinion but what people needs to realise is we can’t control VAR, it is what it is. But we can control how we play. We played well in the first half but only scored 1 goal, that’s not a secure lead. So why play that lethargic in the second half instead of trying to kill the game. I’m not just talking about intensity but trying to make forward passes instead of sideways or backwards like we did. The way we played was like thinking they won’t score against us so let’s save energy just passing the ball around. It’s arrogance

Well done Mourinho. Signs of progress. I’m pissed at the VAR inconsistency but if we play like that we’ll pick up points over the season. I’m mad but not at us.

I thought we looked improved, first half so many created chances. Oh and it's a different game when Sonny isn't on the pitch, going to need Begwijn (sp) to step up when he get's his chances.

feel bad for the man, he’s doing a lot right and it’s starting to become very evident, only for all his work to be thrown out the window by some stupid rule, future looking increasingly brighter though

Weird how things can be interpreted differently. He said that now he knows the difference between the really big clubs and the likes of us and I felt that was a comment about our inability to sign the options he needs, like the striker (which would mean he could rest Kane/Sonny)

Exactly. He had to choose because it's impossible to play the same team with the same intensity twice in two days, just like it's impossible for us to play the same team with the same intensity 5 times over 10 days. It may be a different situation strictly speaking but it's the same principle.

I know it sounds like I'm being nit picky but you said Liverpool play the same team all the time implying that we should do the same, but when they have to compete on a tight schedule they had to make some kind of compromise, as have we.

It's also easier for you to prioritise and throw the league cup when you're going to win the PL.

Jose needs to change his shit tactics or fuck off! Why did we play like that in the second half?? We weren’t 3-0 up to play like that, idiotic

We now have a far too good of a squad to play shit like that
Haha state of this absolute mouth breather.

More positives than negatives today in the performance. Disappointing we couldn’t put this to bed. There’s always a risk if you don’t. Hopefully we can build on this now.

Go and support another team - your anti Jose bias agenda will always come to the surface. Instead of waiting for every opportunity to try and slate our manager why don’t you get behind him? Fans like you really boil my piss - by wanting a manager
You dislike to fail you are asking the club to fail - and that is unforgivable as a true fan

1-0 is a risk but the risk is conceding a scrappy late goal. Getting mugged by the ref isn't something you should be gameplanning for
