Southampton have six shots on goal.
Spurs none.

It’s not over but lmao ... we have a more talented squad and are being outplayed.

I was willing to give him a chance but we're nearly a year down the line and I genuinely still have no idea what his system is or what we're trying to do. We still play as if he only came in last week.

I can't watch this any longer, the football is diabolically bad, he can't say he hasn't got the players because who would say that Southampton have a better squad than us? No one yet they're absolutely dismantling us at every opportunity, every time we get the ball we just hoof it up to Kane, it's absolutely dreadful

For how long?

And what point will it be acceptable to judge him?
No I am BSODL but Levy really fucked up with this appointment. Mourinho was always the wrong choice and the performance this season continue to bear this out. 10 months is plenty long enough to have seen some sort of identity.l begin to develop.

Many fans have poured so much into the “Mourinho is a winner” line that they aren’t willing to accept how bad we are.

We need a coach to make us better than the sum of our parts. Atm we are much worse than the sum of our parts. Appalling

Just be patient !!!
In this match or generally with Jose?

we have a much better first XI than they do and I know we had two offside goals but they’re dominated us and we just have no attacking game plan and we don’t look solid at the back so I just can’t see this being successful. I don’t know if it’s the players confidence or what they’re being asked to do by Jose or if Jose’s tactics are genuinely a little outdated with so many managers focusing more on pressing and possession and quick transitions because to me far far far too many matches under Jose we’ve sat off, not engaged the opposition, let them just pass it around us and then score.

I do have a feeling it will come good under Jose eventually with patience and more signings but what are people’s thoughts on the tactics and plan and how do we see it being successful moving forwards?

Players aren't playing for him. This is only going one way.
I’m not sure that they’re ‘not playing for him‘ but I don’t think they’re particularly enjoying the game plan to sit off and have such little of the ball. When confidence is high and we are solid as a rock and devastating on the counter attack then fine but until then being a player playing in this style will be really draining.

This style could work but we would need to buy 2 great CBs and a great DM. Can't keep hoping to win 1-0 with one of the worst defenses in Europe.

“The tactics and plan” ?!!?

Genuinely curious what this is? Sit deep, give up possession and hit teams on the counter?

I think the biggest problem we have is that we're sacrificing attacking play and giving up control of the ball to be solid and more defensive, but our defence is utter dogshit. So we're not attacking or playing progressive football and we're not solid either. Every game is like a boxing slugfest.

I could maybe accept the less attacking style if we were solid, hard to beat and keeping clean sheets but we're not even doing that.

Need to get rid ASAP.
Just as I suspected, united wasn't a blip. He's just massively finished at the top level. Wish he'd gone to arsenal, would've been hilarious

I must say I’m starting to lose faith a little but the players aren’t helping themselves. Midfield is a big problem. If we’d of signed Everton’s midfield this summer we’d be so much of a better team. Without GLC we look a mess in there.
