He has had 12 weeks to work with this squad and come up with a way of playing! Remember he stayed with the other coaches for lock down to work on tactics etc. Nothing has changed since the Burnley game prior to lock down. We are still all over the place in defence, have no midfield and our front four are static and completely unable to break teams down or look remotely like scoring.

Also the worrying thing from that shambolic second half performance is I thought we didn't play too badly in the first half. But what ever went on at half time completely back fired as that was most woeful performance I can remember in a long while.

Jose's big strengths are meant to be motivation and being able to organise teams make them hard to beat. He has not shown one jot that he can do that with us since he took us over.

To make matter worse he has pretty much a full strength team now as well.

What is his record now 1 win in 8 or 9!

Its just not working and he has to go!

Virtually a fully-fit squad, 3 months of dedicated prep and this is what we get:

- Can't pass
- Can't defend
- Can't create a goal
- Can't take a corner
- Can't take a free kick
- Can't make a right sub (When our players are knackered, he makes 2 out of 5 possible subs. When we're 2-nil down when 10 ins to go and he brings on a CB.)

People said "He needs a pre-season". Well, he's had one and we're still completely outplayed when Sheffield United. He doesn't even look like he gives a shit.

We're stretching Kane's loyalty too far, there's no way he'll put up with this shit. I was willing to give him a chance but we need to cut our losses before we lose Kane and then we're truly fucked.

3 months of dedicated prep?
They only had 2/3 weeks of training on pitches before the season started.
The first 6 or so weeks was individual training and sessions on Zoom FFS.

He desperately needs new full backs.

The reason Spurs failed to make their dominance of the ball count was the appalling delivery into the box by Aurier (especially) and Davies whenever good positions were worked. Really, really poor. So many promising positions. Not a single good final ball. So wasteful.

Goes without saying that the marking for each of the goals was shocking but that can be fixed. The full back problem can't be from within the current squad.

Mourinho got it wrong in the second half. Clearly whatever he said at half time to lift them didn't work, heads dropped after the disallowed goal and we didn't look like we had a clue.

I'm disappointed but I already made peace with this season being a bust after Poch was sacked. Now that top 5 is all but out of the picture, I want to see how Jose approaches his team selection and style of play for the rest of the season.

Tbh it doesn't matter what manager we bring in. The footballing infrastructure at the club needs addressing. Levy has way too much say / responsibility for one person. Maybe it's cause I'm a spurs fan but I hardly ever hear about another clubs chairman. With spurs it's all about Levy.
