For what purpose? Tell me what use it is going through to the next round against (if we were to beat RB) and play (most likely) even better opposition to be embarrased on an even greater scale? ... The only person who wants that is Levy.
Yeah, I said similar a couple of days ago - our club, the way it is, currently serves no purpose being in a competition that we can't do justice - Just as well we can't get knocked out the Premier league over 2 legs - phew

Poch pulled the team together when he joined and he had some ridiculous injury times too. Mourinho pretty much said the season over with only son, Kane and Sissoko missing. When is he going to back the team? When is he going to publicly say he believes they can win without those players?
He did, by saying he believes, but did you guys ever believe him in the first place?

When did he not back the team? He didn't slate the team performance at all in those losses. But again did you guys believe him?

What he has been saying with regards to injuries, forms and fitness is the truth, nothing but the whole truth. But did you guys chose to believe him? Remember how we were all tearing ourselves up when Poch made those ambiguous comments in pressers. Now Mourinho is giving us the hard truths, how much of them are you guys taking them in kindly?

Poch never had a season without a proper forward. Not even Kane and Son both out for such extended period of time. Don't tell me Poch wouldn't complain, because even with the squad fit, his face is still moody and black. The fortunes Poch has had compared with Mourinho's - and yet people are blaming all squarely on the latter.

You haven’t proved shit. Take a rest.

Haha yeah cool man ?! The worst responses are those when someone clearly has been proved wrong, let’s recap:

You said: it’s been an awful 14 weeks since José joined.

I said: what about the first 6 weeks where we won 6 and drew 1 of 9 games.

You said: the last 5 weeks have been rosy...In response....

I think it should be you who puts the beer down, and gets a good nights sleep brother ?

I'm sure I read (somewhere) that Jose doesn't coach the forwards as he like them to express themselves, well he better flipping start, because that was hard to watch, absolutely bereft of ideas.

I’m not holding my breath that we get any real money to spend this summer. I can’t see it. I reckon it will follow the same as most of other summers (when we’ve bothered to sign players) we will get one in early and 2 in late. The one in early will be Jose’s priority and the other 2 will be alternatives the ones we couldn’t get. Always seems the way. With no champions league I can not see a bigger net spend than £50m max. It’s just an educated guess but ties in with levy saying we have a net spend of £200 over the last 4 years, and that’s with champions league

Jose saying no summer rebuild, honestly we’re fucked for the forceable future

What exactly do you expect him to say though? Yes we are shit and need to replace all bar 6 or 7 squad members. That wouldn't exactly go down well with the players, most of whom will be here next season as we can't ship out 10 and bring in same amount it just doesn't work like that.

He needs to keep the players onside so can't really expect him to say anything else

Absolute spoilt brats in this fan base. It’s embarrassing. Literally choosing to ignore the blindingly obvious reasons for the shit were in just because he’s ex-Chelsea.

Personally I couldn’t care if he used to manage Arsenal. It’s what he does here and how he acts here. I thought we played ok to start with, had a go at them, pressed them and then individual errors fucked us. What I can’t get my head around is him not bringing on Parrot and NDombele when we had nothing to lose and didn’t look like scoring if we played till Xmas. For me he was point proving. It would have been a gamble but why not throw the dice and see what happens. I know Poch used to drive us mad with subs but that doesn’t mean Jose should as well.

It's a strange thing to say about Mourinho a manager that knows how to win... But he really needs to pull himself together and be more positive and coach the team....we have players that need to coached.

What for though? CL place? I honestly don't see us being able to compete with utd & I'm staggered to be saying that tbh. I've long since consigned this season to the bin and don't expect us to pick up any meaningful results for the remainder of the season. Jose looks clueless and that is evident in the team.

Season over?

Well, less stress, less ranting and less 'over egging' of what the club, manager, players can achieve in that case then.

Why won’t people see this? The anti mourinho bias is blinding them!

1 - no Son, Kane, Bergwijn, Davies, Sanchez.
2 - Ndombele not fit.
3 - Lloris, Gazza & Vorm making simple errors in last 4 games.
4 - Not a single striker option in the squad.
5 - Toby and Vertonghen both aged this season.
6 - Eriksen has left.
7 - no strong presence in the centre of the park.
8 - zero pace in the squad.

All of the above are true and not a single one of them is Jose’s fault.

Please god someone start an “Anti Mourinho” thread because this place is becoming unfortunately unbearable due to the constant whinging in every single thread!

When Poch couldn’t win for love nor money (with Kane, Son and Eriksen) it was all Levy’s fault but somehow no considering we don’t have the aforementioned players, it’s all Jose’s fault!

The entitled fans in here can give you whiplash.

1 Will give you that for this specific match, but this match was not a one-off
2 Arguably is, as seems he is totally unmotivated as much as anything
3 Arguably is, he selected Vorm for example
4 Is incorrect, we have a striker, just won't use, and we have just had a transfer window also, where he was offered players, so this holds no water at all
5 Using this as an excuse, when he has just awarded Toby a new contract and did not play Verts out of choice
6. Mourinho was in charge when he was sold and apparently according to a few clowns we have better now in Lo Celso, so this just fails as an excuse under scrutiny
7 We have just had a transfer window, and brought in his choice (although not using him much)
8 Moura is quick, Sessegnon is quick,

So in summary to say none of what you listed is Jose's fault, is basically just excuse making, and taking them to the absolute extreme.
Yes the squad s depleted, but the performances are absolutely nowhere near the level they should be with the players we do have available, and the tactics we are using are just getting nowhere near the best out of any of the players, which is Jose's fault totally.

Even Dele has just come out and said the players mentality was totally wrong tonight, that is totally the managers issue.
