Christ, section 2 makes grim reading! The club's position reads as basically "we couldn't possibly be doing anything different/better; injuries are to blame for all our woes; and we don't concede even the remote possibility that spending more on the squad might result in improvements on the pitch".

Fuck me, that is scary shit.
The worst part is that they manage to justify not spending this past January and at the same time justify not spending this coming summer. "Funds were ring-fenced for the summer however not qualifying for Champions League would have an impact all round." It's abundantly clear that ENIC have no interest whatsoever in what happens on the pitch, only what affects their pockets.

but we won't confirm that we'll look to implement even a single one of them.
This is their position wrt these meetings in general.
ie: We agree to sit here and listen to your moaning whilst we look at our fingernails, but we reserve the right to do absolutely fuck all if we so wish...see you in 3 months.

They're a complete waste of time really.

All I got from that meeting minutes was that we hope to win something but it doesn't matter too much, instead being in the league and some European competition to increase the revenue flow is the driver so much the same for the next 20 years as the last. :)

Maybe we can merge the Jose and ENIC threads then everyone can moan about everything in one place. One orgasmic moan fest.

You'll never moan alone.

It's good to hear it come directly from them though, provides some nice solid material for when it's time to have an argument with Lighty.

There used to be a club over there.... now it’s just a very small part of a new exciting multi use entertainment stadium being used to make the ignorant owners very wealthy.

Dont forget the summer time ball, Rugby league and guns and roses as well.. but we fans need to be really proud that these our ground which we were told was being built for our club is now being used to host these ”world class” events and apparent super stars of the entertainment industry“.
I'm being thick - what are you railing against? This is a genuine question.

I'm not being deliberately thick- was just doing an impression of you.

Apart from Man City and Liverpool the teams you mentioned - think their managers have had less trophies put together than Jose so don't mean shit!

If he wants to play 6 at back I would support him.

Extremely short sighted to focus on 5 CBs and not taking into account injuries and forthcoming fixtures and we still did not lose the game.

It appears you see the glass as half empty and I see it as half full.

i like it, a comedian.

I agree, Jose has a great record, so based on that what is wrong with having high expectations and holding him to that? He said he's special no one else.

It must concern you even if you are not willing to say it aloud that Solskjar schooled him, it must concern you that Lampard did it...twice. I agree with you wholeheartedly his record grinds them into the dirt. They are not fit to lace his boots.

When you watched Pochettino’s Spurs smash his team at Old Trafford last season, or at Wembley the season before or at the Lane before that. When you watched Klopp put him out of his misery at Anfield when he was at Utd. Somewhere deep inside you must have thought 'I don’t think Jose's quite as good as he was'?

Surely it's OK to say this and think it, it is a fact that the way teams play has altered hugely from the era in which Jose had his early success? That is surely undeniable, the world changes. Were he not Spurs manager would anyone be attacking my points at all?
