Your talking about this season and ignoring the previous ones ? Remind me where did we finish last season? The last full season Poch was in charge - the one which we got to a CL final

The post I replied to was that Poch would have done better, why would I talk about the previous seasons when he fundamentally failed in his last 25 games which is 2/3rds of a season?

What will happen is he'll be given the summer and he'll be half heartedly backed in typical Levy style then get sacked by Xmas.

It's so predictable it's fucking easy.
His track record of signing players isnt great either, he bought in a load of shite on massive wages at United.

No structure, no direction and no movement. That comes from the coaches. At times tonight the players just looked shell shocked and had no idea what to do. If this is what you want for our club then it makes me really sad.

He's mirroring the play he implemented at united and it's bloody painful.

Fair enough he doesn't have the players due to our sqaud not being good enough/injuries but still surely he can set us up in an attacking sense like we saw after Norwich equalised.

I want to give him time cause he arrived into a mess midway through the season but he's making it really hard with his turgid football.

His a result manager, over playing attractive football, if he's not getting them then time is usually up for him pretty quickly (i.e Man utd, Chelsea)

Negative football for 80 minutes. Dominated by Norwich at Home, the worst side in the league, sorry but I just can't support that style. The sooner he goes, the better for our club.
It’s such a shame as we were much better against wolves but 100% agree setting up that negativity home to bottom of the league is not on and we yet again got what we deserved. The optimism is really fading.

There is zero chance Levy is sacking Mourinho before this time next year, and only then if we basically lose every game at the start of next season.

Our squad is fucked due to lack of investment from Levy and/or Poch being ridiculously picky with who he signed.

The underlying rot had already set in by the Christmas before last, but results were good until that point. Poch then had basically a year and things got worse and worse. He had to go.

Mourinho has had a few months. We are only realising now the full extent of how fucked the squad is.

We are still getting more points under Mourinho in the league than at the end of Poch's reign. But we can't judge Mourinho until we see proper investment in the squad in the summer. And by that I mean four or five first teamers. We need two new full backs for a start, a defensive midfielder, and ideally an upgrade on Moura and, sad to say, Lamela, who we can't afford to carry any more through the constant injuries.

And who knows if Kane comes back the same player.

If all that happens, and we still look total shit next season, then Mourinho will justifiably deserve blame and the fans will be quick to turn on him.

But until then, we have to write this season off and get behind the new manager.

This isnt about Poch v Jose but he really needs to buck up his ideas. The last 20 minutes showed we can go out and play football, our players looked comfortable... so damn well play that way.

Dont fucking sit back against damn Norwich at home

I would expect better and if we went out playign the way we ended then fine but to go out with a wimper is just wrong and sits uneasy with me.

Second best paid manager in world football on £15m a year, double what Klopp is on.

Just let that sink in.
I am sure there are lots of championship managers who would be equally good at producing these shit performances for less money.

Seriously this site.

Bring in Howe, let him waste some cash on some Liverpool cast offs. We'll be alright though.

I thought Jose was a good appointment as he was a winner, and moreso, showed ambition by levy

My concern is, we have no clear identity, we don’t seem to be trying to deploy and structure or any gameplan. Our season is pretty much dead now so hopefully this means we’ll start trying a new method of playing in preparation for next year without the ‘pressure’.
