Ahhhhh you've got to love the current media climate. I saw somebody on twitter (alarm bells) saying how these things must be true as they're being reported by so many media outlets (all of who referenced the Sun as their source).

The truth no longer matters as you just need to throw a bit of dirt and it bounces off everything. Repeat a lie enough times and people start believing it to be true.

It's like the whole Jan & Eriksen's wife story from a few months ago. Madness... :banghead:

If this story is supposedly true from disgruntled players, all Jose has to do is tell them what he has won and ask them what they have won. Cased closed, get with the programme or get the fuck out.

So now there trying to run another guy out of town? I really just dislike these players. At what point do these guys look in the mirror and realize they are the problem? Sack the whole lot.
You’d have to be particularly dumb to take anything that toilet rag says as gospel. As you’re a septic I’ll give you a pass here.

Just this once mind.

I know this has an element of jest to it but you are spot on. Jose is a winner, even his “shit” Utd side won a trophy and finished second in the table.

The man knows what it takes to win, be that ugly or other, let’s give the guy time and get rid of those players who want to play for someone else.

Look, I’m all for giving Jose time as he’s not had a pre season and we clearly need some player upgrades due to injuries etc but fuck me we are hard to watch under Jose, I can see signs that we’re becoming more solid but I just don’t understand our plan of how to attack and it’s so boring not trying to dominate the ball.

I’ll stick with it but as others have said it’s making wanting to go to the games less and less appealing unfortunately as it’s turgid and so very hard to watch. We didn’t deserve to win that, at home against the team who are bottom of the league, not good.

Like you said we didn’t deserve to win that, but we did and that’s the only thing that matters

It doesn't look great but it's really not that different to how Poch had us playing towards the end of his reign. I think we have to remember that this group of players have been playing poorly for a long time now and have steadily gotten worse and worse. Mourinho is trying slightly other means of playing to at least get something out of them. It may have been ugly but we may very well have lost that under Poch with how we were.

I honestly thought we were way worse under Poch for the last 18 months of his tenure. At least there is some fight and trying right now. Poch was dreadful, sideways football with a lucky hoofball at the end of it.

Bottom line - he deserves a preseason and proper backing in the summer window. It's so obvious to everyone that this squad isn't good enough. There are some good prospects - we know who they are - but a team failing so badly under Poch was never going to suddenly turn around and look world beaters.

Jose being not so subtle. Like it!

"When Chelsea want to win they bring on Michy Batshuayi. When Manchester City want to change Gabriel Jesus they bring in Sergio Aguero.”

I think his next archaic training tactic should be putting this squad through a Hunger Games. Something to get them to show some real fight again. I offer Danny Rose as tribute.

I actually thought we were pretty slick with our passing and movement in the first 25-30 minutes against Watford and again against Norwich in the first half. We just can't seem to put in a 90 minute performance and as much as Moura tries (and I think he's really working hard) he's just not the striker Jose usually has.

I agree mate and Jose has a knack of getting us over the line, I suppose with his style of play a big man up top is pretty essential so for us to not have any strikers on the books available right now is making our attacking play quite hard to watch as it’s not suited to how Jose wants to play.

agree with all your points mate and I’m still optimistic it’s just very hard to watch recently. So so glad we got the win, if we’d lost that the knives would’ve been out.

Yep agree mate and sessengon aside we can say that we’re starting to cut out the individual errors and the effort is there, I don’t shit myself everytime the opposition gets a set piece now either so some positives for sure it’s just going forward it’s hard to watch but perhaps not having a striker is a big part of this as with poch we did ok with no target man just passing it side to side all game but with Jose’s style of play a target man is pretty much essential and then there are attacking runners off him.

Handling of Eriksen has become a joke.
It's true, yet we still miss the player that he was. We really struggle to create meaningful chances against teams that defend in numbers. We've never learnt to do it without Eriksen and with the lack of a striker now, we're struggling even more than usual.

I agree with others, we're tough to watch right now. It's reminiscent of the AVB days for me, only we don't have Bale and we don't generally dominate the ball either.
