Jose loves a pre season but no doubt half our squad will come back from gettting to beyond the quarters of the Euros utterly shattered before going on a tour somewhere to 'raise our profile' and then suffering a kicking from our first fixture in August against some newly promoted cloggers.

Apart from Dele of course who'll be reporting back for duty soon as.

Happy New year!

Most of our squad won’t be getting anywhere near the euros with the way they are playing

Mourinho has come in and tried to keep things simple - at least until he has time to develop his new ideas on the training pitch. The games have come thick and fast so player rehab and fitness trumps training and the guy just hasn't had a real chance to both assess the team and build the style he wants.

He is one of the most talented managers the game has ever seen and this is so clearly a players issue. They are massively letting us down.

Looking back through highlights, there are Individual errors all over the pitch. Misplaced passes, lack of awareness, poor positioning, lack of will....an endless list completely down to the players. Perhaps 5.5 years of Poch has fatigued them all to the ground too.

I really hope Jose is brutal and bins half the squad over the next two windows.

I'd be worried as a player across the pitch. Perhaps 3-4 of them are must stay players, the rest are replaceable and they all need to feel the heat.

When we get to the stage of tactically doubting Mourinho’s ability we’re really lost.

Every midfielder has had their chance and they’ve all played terribly.

I'll say it yet again - None of our midfielders are a good fit in double pivot. They are either too slow (Dier) or they don't have the defensive or ball winning ability (the rest of them) to get control of any game. We need an extra player in there to at least try to get a foothold since we're constantly being swamped, and having the extra player up front is absolutely pointless if we can't get hold of the ball. And yet, Mourinho persists with different combinations of the same formation.

I kind of feel bad for Jose. He came in with all the enthusiasm and happiness in the world. And within what 6-8 weeks, he looks like he's thoroughly depressed. I thought his interview when his dog had died was bad, but ever since then he's looked depressed as fuck. I don't blame him either, welcome to Spurs Jose - It's not much fun lad.

Howe has beaten United and Chelsea with clean sheets in both this season, for the record.
For the record, he’s also lost 8 out of the last 10. Which is the 3rd time this kind of run has happened in consecutive seasons. And he’s spent a shit load of money. For the record.

He has about 8 first teamers injured at the moment. I don’t think he would be the answer for us but his squad is decimated at the moment.
