Feels like we have picked up someone else's dirty washing - non inspiring football - easy option from Levy - from his time at Man u it felt like he was living in the past as a manager - don't like the man or what he represents

If anything that is the most ballsy appointment Levy could have made. A manager who is known for calling out the people at the top and wanting signings. As far from a yes man as could be.

I can't be excited about Jose. I can't bear the thought that the toxic atmospheres that developed at Madrid, Chelsea and United might develop here as well. A short end of season deal I would've been all for, I just don't see it going well past that.

Of course it goes without saying that I really, really hope I'm proved wrong

As a season ticket holder, its going to be hard spending £1000+ a year to watch shit every other week whilst hoping for the odd league or FA Cup.

I'm in the minority but I'd rather be entertained than win.
Is that not what you've been watching anyway?

Interesting that most other forums have similar split opinions of Jose - however already saying that spurs may now win something - that’s a shift in only an hour or so. Whatever your opinion of Jose there is no doubting the aura he brings and there will be a mentality shift.
People say short term plan etc - so what, players have short careers so you need to capitalise now, not wait another five years. Watch Kane leave and then build parrot up - then rinse repeat.
Let’s try winning something now and attracting the best young manager in a few years?
My nan used to tell me - don’t worry about something until it’s happened, because when it happens you’ll worry anyway, meaning you’ve worried about it twice.
No one knows how this ends, all we can go on is past facts.
The same way wherever poch ends up the first thing written will be - can he win trophies here though?
there’s your mentality change

I've been opinionated for weeks about how Mourinho to Tottenham in fact could work out so I'm not surprised. I knew all those "Levy would never because" arguments were just bullshit. I was reluctant to love the idea early on even if I thought it was highly plausible, but a couple of months later I came to realise that the potential reward is much higher than the potential risk, and I welcome Mourinho. I will look forward to his pressers, his system once it's settled and his tactics. It will be fun, new chapter. Interesting, I find it, is that he is taking over a club still in Champions League.

amazon should be sponsoring the stadium, the amount of damn content we’ve give them in just like a month

The documentary will actually be amazing, I'm intrigued how they're gonna handle the last 12 hours or so.

End of season 3, Poch leaves the club...cue sad music and a montage of the good times then fade to black...then, suddenly the preview for episode 4 appears:

Jose voice: "you tink zis is the end"

It's the most ballsy appointment since Redknapp, I'll give him that.

With both Levy’s and Jose’s respective reputations on transfer business it would be darn right negligent if they haven’t had some outline discussions setting transfer budgets for the next couple of windows at least.

These two aren’t stupid and their reputations proceed them both.

I will get behind him because I support Tottenham.

But this seems like a sad day for the Club and the crushing of the identity we've been proud of that's been built in recent years

I would be shocked if Toby didn’t sign a new contract #opinion

I’d be surprised given it was Poch who is supposed to have initially gone out of his way to get him a better deal before Toby’s representatives went back on it.
