Has never failed to achieve silverware with a club.
Dr Tottenham will fix that Jose
Has never failed to achieve silverware with a club.
The thought of working with Levy was just too much for him to ignore
With him not having the title of manager the dof seems to be in play not sure how much that'll keep Levy away from fucking shit up at that level, I guess we'll see. Hopefully Mourinho can get the squad playing again, too much talent to be outside the top six right now.
Jose has already started
Club with great HERITAGE
Is that a snipe haha - ok im sold. fuck it.
Odious character. Hard to forget the eye gouging of another manager. Maybe we'll perk up a bit for a while, but I wouldn't bank on it. It's almost cute that he dropped the academy into his statement. I look forward to his eventual sacking.
Hey. I bet we land the Stadium sponsorship now. That’ll pay for his holding midfielder
Agree.I find it interesting that he wants to do it. I'm as sceptical to the combination as most other people, yet both Mourinho wanted to come and Levy has been chasing him for years (decades).
I think some players will be shocked when the cozy atmosphere is changed.
Everbody and their mother knows about this man; he probably garners more attention than any coach on earth right now, which means if nothing else we will be in the spotlight for his entire tenure here. So, questions:
1). Are you happy/pleased/content/relieved or- conversely- are you beyond disgusted now that "The Special One" is taking the reign from Poch?
I'm actually quite positive. On a short term, he could be the special one for us. He knows the PL and obviously as a pundit recently, he knows the situation in our team quite well.
2). Do you think his appointment will be beneficial to us in the short term? How about over the long term?
I expect him to last 2,5 yrs and then he's out
3). Do you reckon he will play boring, lockdown, 1-nil to the Tottenham-style football or do you think he'll produce a good product on the pitch?
I'll take three points any day
4). Which players- if any- do you think will benefit from his appointment, and which players do you think will suffer with him taking the helm?
Easy! The ones that are satisfied with his methods
5). Do you predict a trophy- or trophies- under him?
I do!
Lastly, what are you thoughts in general about his hiring? My Ars*nal mate reckoned he'd never come to Spurs because of Levy's tightfistedness, but now he's here so, yeah...is this a good thing or will it all end in tears (or both)?
genuinely gutted that weve appointed mourinho. he a classless self promoting bastard who leaves every team devasted in season 3.
Agree.
It'll be about mentality, do you want to win or not.
That's why people try to become the best in sport, to win things.
Be interesting to see how many of them, including Mourinho himself, want it.
As ever, we the fans go through it again, hopefully with a few (or lots) of pots at the end of it all.
