I'm afraid the lad just doesn't help himself. Prime example, first day of training and Jose is shouting "Danny Rose doesn't run". Rose has been poor for some time now and needs to go but if you can't even be bothered to show some effort on the new manager's first day of training then you don't deserve a chance.

I thought that quote was in reference to our LB tucking in? As in don't move or don't run but stay back and form a back three.

Regardless, I still think Rose hasn't helped himself and hasn't played well enough to excuse his behaviour since Walker left really

No it was from a training clip on Jose's first day as manager. It was the game where a couple of players are in the middle of the circle trying to get the ball back and he was stood there making little effort.

That sun article will be pure agenda driven drivel. Pretty much like the rest of the racist filth they post.

We have bought in a young exciting coach to work with Mourinho does anyone else seriously think we will just be pumping the ball long in training.

I think we know we have a toxic element in the squad any way but the sooner we clear house the better.

Good to know that the chances of Jose actually giving a fuck about winning over a journalist like that are zero tbh

Absolutely - someone like that will probably print shit about him whatever he says or does.

Have to say that I never bothered watching press conferences before Jose took over but I don't miss many now. Always have to preface anything about Poch by saying that I loved him as our manager but Mourinho is much more straightforward and less evasive in answering questions.

Not even sure if these Journos actually have a genuine hate agenda. They just know stories about Jose sell papers and are proven click bait.

This was the same when Poch took over, he was quick to get rid of the moody and destructive twats from the squad! Jose will be the same...although the twats are our better players unlike the Adebayors etc

The agenda that either works from or in, around and sometimes against Jose will always be there.if you read about his history in coaching this far he has always had his inner circle at clubs of players that would do what he wants and how he wants because they were invested in him.
But this is NOT his squad. This is what he has inherited mid season. And herein lies the problem and he is finding out, on the middle of a very busy schedule, which players he can rely on, play in the way he wants, and can form the kind of relationship he needs with them. That cannot be easy. And of course there will some, maybe even previously key players, who aren’t intersted in what he wants to, how he wants to do it and are planning their exit strategy. A true transition period - for better or worse.

The agenda out there in the media is completely anti-Jose and all hoping he will fail. It will make it all the sweeter when he does get the team turned around and we start performing.

That Sun piece read like anti-Mourinho fan fiction. Ticked off every Mourinho cliche going. How can people be allowed to write unsubstantiated garbage like that?

As for allegedly being bored of his sessions A) they've hardy had more than a handful since he's been there B) the ones that have seem to have shown clear improvements and C) if they want to stop having to focus on basics then they need to stop making such basic errors.

I've seen the press conferences where Mourinho has been 'attacking' Ndombele and I did not get that vibe at all from him, I said it at the time when certain parts of the media were jumping to the Pogba mark II conclusions. Mourinho has really impressed me in his press conferences, I'd be surprised if players were not too, certainly feels way too early for these kind of stories.

The Rose link is pretty telling, along with Kidd's article history.

I just hope for our sake there's no truth in it at all. Would love to see an ITK weigh in on it.

1) I think it's crazy to think Levy has made a load of promises that have been (in a matter of weeks) renaged upon. I just don't see that at all

2) I do think it's likely that Jose figured our squad was a lot better than it actually was, in terms of quality, balance and depth...all of which we have issues with

3) All that notwithstanding, I feel it's been a highly underwhelming start.

I wasn't for Jose's appointment, but there was part of me that thought it might work. In reality, it's now horridly uncomfortable viewing and there's not even been a honeymoon period to enjoy.

I feel disengaged and I just care a lot less than I used to, which is really sad.
same but i think we can turn it around, give jose some time :)

I felt based on Rose comments just before Poch's sack that Levy will have had a quiet word about trying to get Rose out with Jose so I expected some fallout. Wouldnt be surprised if Jose manages to convince him to leave by end of Jan.

Speaks volumes that we are all in agreement of backing Jose against this article. The validity is thin at best but if it were true then this current squad might have been able to oust one manager but certainly not two.

Personally I can only see one player who might have an issue, I cant see who else would atm.
