This is my personal opinion OK, I think his style of play is outdated, the game has moved on.

Thats so much wrong.
Mourinho is playing with the team he has currently.

After being shit for months, first 7 games under Mourinho we score 20 goals, very good going going forward, nearly 3 a game.
Then Son fucks up, we pick 4 first XI injuries.
Now, what he has to do ? He had to be pragmatic, makes us better defensively. So, he does do that. Since Liverpool game we are solid n backline. He gives debut to a youngster who has never played a competitive game for any club against Liverpool. Game goes perfectly to the tactics only for 3 of our players to miss great chances.

To summarise, Mourinho is playing with 5 or 6 first XI team members out. So, he cannot play the same way.

Saner thing for any fans would be to support the management, fuck the style talk till the injured players are back. Hopefully when they are back and we gain confidence we can think about style.

I did

I watched the 1st 4 years under Pochettino also

How anyone can disagree that we are playing turgid football right now is very myopic

What a weird argument. We played some exciting stuff under Harry too. Some here saw some great stuff under Burkinshaw and Nicholson as well.

As others have said Poch's first and last seasons were not particularly pretty either. Levy sacked his dream manager for a reason, we were terrible. The last one here being far more relevant than anything else.

It's like saying we should still be playing Wanyama and Dier in DM because they were great 2-3 years ago!

The football now isn't great granted but we hit rock bottom before Jose got here and he has had a lot of setbacks. I'm seeing some baby steps of a rebuild and I'm hopeful, because I want what's best for Spurs. Give the man a chance.

I really do hope Jose is pushing hard behind the scenes to help us get some signings, he more then anyone knows what a mess we are in & ultimately he has the loudest voice when it comes to being heard

None if it's been good. But we are very weak central now while we have so many AMs,the most important position CM we are lacking NDombele and other choices.
Mourinho was a fan of Dier that's getting wilted now,Winks is a seed that hasn't matured into anything top notch so the most important link up area is weak.
Pochs football was terrible for 2 seasons and he didnt know how to change it,let's see how Jomo does when the pieces come together

Must be that time of the afternoon when the folk who are really unhappy with Levy/Enic take time to post on the internet - whole host of bits and pieces about their dissatisfaction popping up on social media as it is on here.

The internet is a funny place.

Mourinho must be raising merry hell behind the scenes.

I didn't want Poch sacked and definitely didn't want to hire Mourinho. Well prepared to give him time and see what he can do. The most exciting thing in my mind was why bring Mourinho unless you are going to back him and give him a good budget to do what he wants.

Poch was the perfect manager for a club with limited budget as he is a fantastic manager working with young talent. Great appointment for where we are. If we aren't changing our model and backing the manager then we have made an incredible mistake getting rid of the manager that could actually have worked with this.

The next 2 weeks and then following 6 months are probably the most important for us moving forwards. We'll either spiral downwards or set our stall out for winning things. By the end of that we'll either be celebrating levy or kicking his office in with the pitch forks out.

I do think that if Levy fails to back Mourinho properly and he eventually leaves under a cloud of dispute then i think it would be time for the fans to demand a change at the top.

Yes Levy has done really well for us in making us a name and a massive financial machine, but what is the point of that if we are just going to go back to being a mid table side with a big stadium that hosts everything from NFL, to concerts and lots of other things!

I would expect us to hjave plugged these gaps before they became gaps i.e. proactive rather than reactive. Have a back up to areas we needed them such as a Kane back up... although I suspect Son is that Kane back up... I dont know. What I do know is that you build a squad over time for stuff like this not to prevent you from achieving your goals.

If it was easy we would've done it. Hindsight is a beautiful thing and Poch publically stated that he was happy with the squad at his disposal.
With the arrival of Mourinho and the sudden injuries to many of our key players we've likely had to devise a whole new plan.

We're in a tricky situation.

I think the worm is beginning to turn already among the fan base on the Levy side of things!

Personally I Made a decision after the Southampton debacle on New Years day that I was going to give going to games a miss for month or so as its four hour round trip for me to get to games and I just don't enjoy watching us play currently and Id rather spend the time with my son and watch games on tv/online (even though I don't enjoy watching us play for some morbid reason I can't just not watch the games lol).

The two glamour games I listed Liverpool and Man City sold straight away but not had any takers for the Norwich game on Wednesday. Looking at the tickets on the exchange earlier looks like we will be playing in a three quarters empty stadium on Wednesday... Suspect if we don't see any investment in the squad for rest of the transfer window then this might be the case for rest of the season for the non glamour games. Im starting to suspect that people are becoming disillusioned with how things are going on the pitch and the lack of ambition/investment in our team from Daniel levy/Enic and don't want to pay the high ticket prices to watch what is being produced on the pitch.

Just have to look in various threads..
Where? You're tilting hard at windmills.

At least you've packed in going to the games, that'll show them, unless you have a season ticket and they're laughing all the way to the bank ...
