If I were to pick on though in the context of this season as it looks difficult to qualify for the top 4 I'd love a trophy.

Probably something to do with the fact we spend less money than nearly all top half premiership teams. I think it worked out to a net spend of £19M per year over the last 5 years. We've been punching way above where we should be on that figure.

I think your post missed the mark but it raises a point about the players. Maybe this is the shake up they need. For the first time in ages they are going to go into training not knowing what to expect, not knowing who the first XI is, not knowing who the captain is, not knowing what the training is going to be like.

They are going to have to work to earn their crust and everyone is on a level playing field. It's a chance for many, so can they take their chance?

Still gutted Poch has gone but Jose would have been my choice to replace him and the thought of him going to the Goons made me a bit uneasy as i think he would've improved them massively. Not sure what to make of the academy quotes, our reserve / youth sides haven't been doing well recently have they? January should be very interesting anyway. Maybe this will be the club where he finally uses the academy players? Lets be honest the pressure isn't as high to win as it is at the other clubs he was at. He has the luxury of being able to bring through young players and experiment as finishing to 4 will be enough.
