No he didn't. He wasn't given the players he wanted.
Apart from Toby I'm not aware of another player he wanted and that was after he had bought Lindelof and Bailly. He was told they would have to get rid of Jones or Smalling before they could sign him and that didn't happen.

So weve gone from people being called idiots for giving Poch the benefit of the doubt because of the situation with the squad and making excuses to now being called idiots when they point out that Jose hasnt had much luck either and what were points were considered excuses before have now become valid defences.

I hope Jose is given the resources necessary to fix the mess the lack of squad refreshing over the past few seasons has caused. Theres nobody that can convince me that Jose genuinely believes he has what he needs within the squad and doesnt want signings this Jan.

Fuck them, worth a try...the cuddly approach was eventually fruitless.
I really don't think klopp, guardiola, Rodgers do the same. I'm not sure how that example leads to a successful side in this snowflake era. United it led to a player rebellion

We’d be served shit football with Howe as well mate minus the PR dramatics.
We need a progressive coach who is the next Klopp etc

Are you saying Howe isn't a progressive coach?

He has a lot of issues right now but no one can say he doesn't set Bournemouth up to attack and play with the ball on the ground.

I think Everton have made the better appt. I think Carlo is far more progressive manager then Jose and will do a very good job for them.

I have no idea what they do, but I know we've tried the 'manager feeding the injured players grapes while they get a massage' approach and it didn't lead to success.

What's all this " Jose hasn't had time to address the problems " shit, basic organisation at the back and some fire in the players belly would be a start.
I give you Pearson and Ancelotti

I get the impression he’s trying to force the transfer issue with setting up the midfield with 2 attacking CMs with no sitting midfielder.

But we did have an immediate reaction, we won our first away games in nearly a year and have got 16 points from 9 games whereas we had 24 points from 25 games.

The fact is that the players are seriously underperforming and have become a bit billy big bollocks and think they can win without hard work.

Our biggest problem is not even Aurier whos become the default.
I watched game after game especially the games we've lost and its as clear as string water, Alderweireld and Vertonghen are finished in this league why did we give Alderweireld a new contact ask yourself why nobody came in for him at £25M buy out.
The premiership has moved on its about the press and both are extremely uncomfortable in one on ones both take an age to play from the back, this just invites pressure. We've now become a long ball team.
I am not at all enjoying this team, it's become predictable and depressing. The only way out is to spend.

Perhaps but they don’t always dominate the ball and I’ve seen the. Serve up a lot of shit as well. I like Howe but think some other better options
