Hi, i'm portuguese... Registered because i was curious to see how the Spurs fans are feeling about this new chapter with José, good to see the majority of you guys are excited.

I feel like this is the beginning of a special era for Tottenham and for Mourinho as a manager, you guys have a much better squad than he ever had at United and even if Tottenham gives him less money to spend he will feel more backed in his work, the United board never really gave him his first choices although they spent a lot of money, at least with you guys he knows with what he can count... It's more important to be professional and organized than spending ridiculous sums of money on players he never wanted, like Fred for example, and expecting things to in the right direction. United is a completely lost football club at the moment, obviouslly he had his flaws but he was burned in the major part because of how the club is deorganized.

Don't think he's going to be crying for new players next summer or having those public rants because he knows from the beginning what to expect and will work based on that, he also seems to have done a autoanalysis like the inteligent person he is, people that thought Mourinho was finished as a manager will feel like crying in the next years.

Give him a decent center half and i think you guys will be in the Champions League final again, this time to win because all the major teams in Europe are underperforming, the only exception is Liverpool.

Keep talking like that bub and you can stay! (y)

Mrs Mourinho, we are grateful for your insight.

Couldn't stand the toxic **** a fortnight a go, now he has me cooing like a mother who has just given birth, he has went from toxic to intoxicating. Thump United tomorrow night and we are well and truly in business.
It'll just be Lighty left soon.

Reckon the two Belgians will eventually sign up.
I'm not too fussed about what Vertonghen does if we're bringing another CB in, but hoping Toby signs at least. Eriksen staying seems like a pipe dream now so just get a DM to replace him.

Yeah we can't let 3 players leave for 3, that's too much money to lose so even if Vertonghen signs up and is eventually sold then it puts us in a better position.

Anyone at this point who isn't on the Jose bandwagon is just being stubborn for the sake of it.
He’s had an excellent start. His demeanour is brilliant , his galvanising of our attack has been fantastic. I hope he and Levy are able to agree upon and secure a quality CDM in the January window, the sort of purchase that enhances our top four aspirations and makes us difficult fuckers to play in the CL

Don’t worry, if we lose tomorrow the Mourinho haters will start creeping out. It won’t take much.
Oh it’ll happen, we’ll lose games under Jose obviously, and you can bet your bollocks they’ll be out in force as soon as they get the chance.

Jose's first ten days shows how important confidence is for players... and opposition perception.

When a team is low on confidence, opposition smells blood in the water. Each of our players start to look like a weak link in a chain on the verge of breaking. That gives impetus to the other team. Gives them confidence to turn us over. That's where we were for the first three months of the season. I don't think anyone feared us in the slightest. And I mean anyone (Rochdale).

Fast forward ten days, and I can guarantee you, those same teams and their players aren't nearly as confident. Suddenly, players like Dele, Sissoko, Harry, Sonny, Aurier, etc, all look really dangerous. Which makes the opposition approach the game from a different perspective. They're not nearly as sure of themselves. Not nearly as intrepid or brave. As they now know that we are the ones smelling fear in the water. Again goes to show the psychological aspect of the game is so critical. And sadly, as long as Poch remained in charge with this current crop of players, they were unlikely to ever get back their mojo.

If nothing else, Jose has got the boys believing in themselves again. And that's the last thing teams around us would've wanted.

Not really... I watched the first half (20 minutes) of our game against Bournemouth at half time I jumped into the pool and didn't bother with the 2nd half..

In 30yrs of supporting Spurs I've never missed a game deliberately. I plan my life around our games and even the wife knows to not try anything differently.

I don't not support Jose' I've come to like his interviews but we all know how this will end....maybe after the Poch stint I don't have the energy of being so close yet so far.

Just because he left a shit utd and wasn’t backed and a toxic Chelsea where fans won’t accept anything less then the title. What makes you think this is going to end badly? Let’s just see how it goes and stop trying to mind read. Expectations are a lot less at us so the pressure is off. We as fans are happy with a trophy and top 4. Anything else IlIs a bonus. Overall Jose’s persona is a lot more calm than its ever been at Utd.

Don’t most managerial tenures finish badly? For every Ferguson there are hundreds of managers who are fired or leave under mutual consent because things sour. Even a club legend like Poch went through this.

If we can get three or four good years out of Mourinho, I’d say we’ve done well
