The easy thing for a Levy was to ride out season - fuck it, he has most of the ST money and can write the season off. Hell, Poch may even walk in the summer.

but he has gone and got a huge manager - the best in terms of trophies won. That deserves respect and he has not put cash first. Let’s respect him and support the club.

Welcome José. I will back you all the way and all other fans of this club should aswell. Whether you are happy or not, what this club needs now is everyone pulling in the same direction. COYS

Gutted.

Just hope we don't end up playing turgid football

I don’t think we will - it might not be city but if we win something, I wont care.

We need to win stuff.

look at a nice clip in the Jose thread - he has refreshed his backroom staff

I also need the odds that Dier will be the first player Jose publicly slags off in a post game conference asap.

The Spurs way is gone... I don't know how I feel about this. Im still so gutted for Poch. He needed backing and support. He did so much for us.

He got both, and we need to stop peddling the idea that he didn’t.

Poch brought us a long way but ultimately wasn’t good enough to take the next step, and that’s perfectly okay.

If the Spurs way is playing “attractive” football but losing at the end of it, then I’m glad the Spurs way is gone. Time to stop piddling about and start winning.

The absolute antithesis of Pochettino.

But if it needed changing, there wasn't really any other option than to go José. At least it's being seen to build on all the progress of the last half decade.

Time to win stuff.

Even die hard Chelsea fans I know grew tired of him on both occasions, despite his successes, primarily because the football was functional and not exciting. But in my opinion most of the Poch era wasn't consistently exciting football to watch either and under Mourinho we have a far greater possibility to win trophies.

I don’t think Mourinho is automatically going to pick Dier as a CDM. Yes, he coveted him a few years ago, but that was a different Dier. This model is slower, maybe better suited as a CB. If anything, I’d imagine our first two signings- probably in January- will be a CDM and a RB

Not sure about us getting him. Though I was the same with poch. But we need to get behind him and see what he can do.

Feels like we have picked up someone else's dirty washing - non inspiring football - easy option from Levy - from his time at Man u it felt like he was living in the past as a manager - don't like the man or what he represents
