He seems to have all the intangibles needed to succeed with us. I haven't seen many fans that can or want to disagree or argue with anything he says. He really wins you over with how straight to the point he is.

Then it comes down some other things. The tactics fit our club like a glove. We want to go for it and he does to. The evidence suggests the players still need to show more in this area in terms of scoring first IMO because scoring affects how you defend and how the other team, when losing, attacks.

Player recruitment remains a question mark. I like that we have bought young talent but we have to give Ange time to nurture it assuming it is the right level of talent to go on and achieve top end success. I am concerned that we show a lack of willingness to go for the best and seem snake-bitten on it as we have really missed on the players we have pushed the boat out for in recent years.

This is just me trying to draw conclusions, but I also wonder if Ange seems taken aback by how "fragile" the fan base is and how quickly the grumbles and complaints can turn up. But it seems apparent he faced a lot of that at Celtic too.
Great post and yep Celtic were written off under him after about 2-3 games
He said: “We’re four games into a new season, it’s pretty early. I realised in Scotland, they’d rule me out after two games.

“They said it was all over in the year we won the double. I’m just going to say these things the way I always have and I’m not going to change.”

Great post that. We'll get nowhere grumbling about every setback or bad result.
Ange is setting about his business and said we'd need a few windows to get there. We all need to get behind him, the players and the club. Some want to destroy things that have not yet had the opportunity to be fully built.

Well if trophy haulers like Jose and Conte (who have had success at virtually every club they've managed) failed to do it at Spurs, it must be a pretty hard thing to do.
I think he's just creating a rod for his own back with those comments.
That's what I'm saying?

0 shots Vs Coventry after 45 mins.

It's ok though, he comes good in his second season. At least he did at the mighty Brisbane Roar and Yokohama Marino's. Not sure about Whittlesea Zebras though.

Even typing those teams is hilarious. We're fucked.

I have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that this is going to unravel quickly.

Quote this if we win because I really want us to win

We all want to win, and we all wanted Ange to do well.

Its plain to see that whatever they are doing in training is not the level needed for a 'top half' team. They couldn't break down a turd, and the players are regressing.

He might as well go now. ‘Fans’ like you won’t back him and continue to aim this Twitter-esque disrespect at a guy that took us on after losing Kane, and got us 5th (after the manager with a more impressive European resume did his best to burn it for ).

Needs to get more out of the players second half or he's going to face a real backlash.

Your acting like "losing Kane" is an excuse for relegation form for the best part of a year.

It seems that Ange's style of football does not work. It was a strange TW as we invested more in a potential rather than in the upcoming season. I did not like Conteball, but I respected it. As I could see the job done by the coach. I saw a gameplan and I saw that this tactics was made for the players who could play under pressure. I was asking myself during the first time against Coventry why we were loosing a ball so often. I found out that there was not any directions for a pass. I read about the tactics of Guardiola and Nagelsman and one of their features is a very player has several directions for pass. As the players should not be on one line, they need to move to break the lines for defending. We play in the opposite style.

I said this - to some disagreement in the match thread - but we don't have anyone right now who can shoot.

Son, Maddison and to some extent Kulusevski can create a shot for themselves.

Solanke can't create his own shot, and is too slow to get the ball out of his feet in traffic. We know about Werner. Johnson can score - when we hit on a break and he gets on the end of a cross, but not when he has to find a shot in and around the box.

Bergvall has not shown that ability yet. We know Sarr likes to shoot, he is just not very effective at it.

This is downright embarrassing. I’m trying not to overreact but ange seems completely and utterly out of ideas and unable to change anything from a system that just isn’t working at all
