Get him out
Says he’ll die with his football philosophy
Well playing out from the back when being pressed on our own box doesn’t work
Having a keeper who cannot defend corners doesn’t work
We play sideways passes. Don’t take shots outside the box and put pointless crosses in to nothing
The only philosophy I can see is dominating the ball and feeling bad when opposition score.
This is relegation form and fucking unacceptable
We’re like watching the AVB team without Bale - fucking impotent.

I feel for the hand postecoglou has been dealt. It’s just poor succession planning to lose players of son and kanes quality so near to each other and have no suitable replacements. Son has dropped off, it’s clear.
That would be hard for any manager to deal with.

Nowadays this 'Inverted fullbacks' doesn't even needed anymore.

Early last season, we used inverted fullbacks so efficiently to aid build up play. It was new and teams failed tried to go toe to toe with us and lost the midfield. We were able to then transition better and get better of them.

Now, no need for that as teams are now ready to surrender possession to us meaning, inverted fullback tactics is not even required anymore. Udogie was hurting teams in transition - now that bite no longer needed.

With wingers who cant dribble, midfield which goes side to side - teams have effectively nullified us.

Your turn Ange - lets see how you solve this...

Here are 3 post match threads from arsenal fans in lego mans 2nd year. Took me 2 minutes to find. Here are some comments I thought might ring some bells.

"Alright Arteta is done. We are now on the brink of relegation. Did he make Xhaka be a moron? No. Did he continue to start him even if he shouldn't touch the PL squad with a ten foot pole? Yep.

Arteta is out of his depth, and despite what people on this sub say I truly believe the team has the talent and depth to improve under a more experienced manager."

"Utterly shameful. You can say whatever you want, but a manager that can't get a goal at home to a team in 18th place with one win is indefensible. The players maybe shite but it is a disgrace the way the team is being setup and the tactics are awful yet we still persist with them. 1 goal from open play in around 9(?) matches is something that would get most managers instantly sacked.

I like Mikel and I really wished he succeeded. But it's gone beyond the point of no return. He's got to go and I hope we can turn our season to get something worthwhile out of it.

The entire Arteta era has been one of clutching to straws. We were terrible after the restart last season but the FA Cup win was there. We were absolutely toothless in front of goal initially this season but we had a good defensive record. Eventually the paper couldn't cover the cracks.."

"Mikel has a lot to answer for after that. Through 50 games now and worse than Unai after 50, and Wenger last 50. That's horrific."

"This man cannot coach a fucking attack and that's evident. Our sheer impotence in front of goal is unforgivable at this point. He's been in charge for 2 years and we're as shit as we were at the start, even though we've spent a ridiculous amount of money."

"Arteta needs to go. We could have Conte or Tuchel instead and we passed on them to trust this process. He has spent the most money in Europe and has lost away to the worst teams in form in the PL. Sack Edu and Arteta and get Ten Hag and Overmars."

Arteta was backed by the club. You can tell Ange is not being 100% backed in the same way.

We just need to hope the kids come good, otherwise he is screwed.

He needs to show he's willing to make changes.

The midfield isn't working and we spent good money on Bergvall and Gray. Play them FFS.

Johnson never plays well when he starts...so don't start him.

Son isn't performing at all but he's apparently untouchable.

Vicario makes the same mistake game after game after game.

Yet I expect the same team to start the next league game.
They also managed to give Nwanueri 10 minutes whilst Mikey Moore (who is better than him) can't even get a spot on our bench.

My team for Wednesday would be.....

Vic
Gray
Dragusin
VdV
Udogie
Bentancur
Bergvall
Sarr
Odebert
Werner
Solanke

I don't think he will do this though and I think we will see more senior players in.
When asked about younger players starting on Wednesday, he replied "Absolutely , not just the younger players but other players in the squad " he also said something like "we need competition in the squad and Wednesday is a good opportunity to do that.

I could see Davies in for Ugogie - but I prefer your line-up.

Bergvall and Gray are must-starts. Solanke needs a lot of work in this system, so I would play him until he drops.

I'd like to see Sarr get a run as the deeper CM - use his athleticism as a more defensive shield. I don't think he is not disciplined enough - yet - but maybe if you give him that responsibility, he will grow into it.

I am not sure who takes the armband in that line-up - I'd probably give it to VdV.

I might be wrong, but the inverted full back sustem allows the passing lane to the winger and gives them a 1on1 run at the defender which is great.....if the wingers actually capitalise on it.
Son and Johnson do not attack the byline nearly enough for wide men who hug the touchline.
Hence why our play is forever going backwards.

It does but Johnson is no good at running with the ball, he's more of a run into space player. Problem is so are our other forwards apart from Odobert.

€350M (€368M if you include Udogie)of player transfers in under Ange - in 14 or so months.

Eureka! Surely Ange can see it’s not happening so why does he need to try something Wednesday, do it in a big game and trust the players you bought/kept.
If I see Ben Davis starting I might well blow a fuse!

I wouldn't mind that but personally I'd have Spence at RB and Gray in midfield, probably instead of Bents.
Rest Porro for sure but I'd rather see Archie play in the position we are weakest in at the moment, and the one we want him to make his own.
And Djed needs games, seeing as he won't be playing in Europe.

We all feel bad today , but we shouldn't be so downhearted. Here is the thing that could make us all feel better.
Ange needs time.
The team needs time.
What is time?
In General Relativity, time is the 4-th dimension of a pseudo-Riemannian manifold that satisfies certain equations (Einstein field equations).
There.... that's something to hold onto going into the next game.

Agree with this.

I'd probably keep Bentancur in there as the 8 though and see what Bergvall can do behind Solanke
