Absolutely no need to be a prick about it either.

I wasn't rude to you with my response, never said you ain't entitled to an opinion either.

One fan isn't representative of a fna bar, but a 50% poll is...

You're coming across as a patronising prick to be honest.

Ange is building something and obviously has the right mentality. I get Last night. Thought the team played well v prob best team in world right now. R.e ange, he was pissed, Luckily for us he was not a tier 1 manager on appointment, otherwise like others he may have already walked or be questioning with mentality to quit, but dont get that impression with ange as he has a point to prove. Critical summer to show him the board mean it, then let him continue next year and ffs don't call for his head if we are not in the top 4 at christmas, things take time. Getting rid of managers hasn't won spurs any trophies in the last 30 years, so why not try and stick for a bit, what's the worst that could happen?

I saw a post on YouTube saying they get the feeling Ange will walk, and going by last night I wouldn't blame him if he did.
No chance. He’s an ambitious guy and he has career goals he’s yet to achieve. It’s not a Conte situation where he feels like the club is beneath him and he’s got nothing to prove. He wants to prove himself in the PL. If he walks now then there’s no chance of him getting a better job than this one.

He was angry last night but he’ll get over it. It was a unique situation and if he gets us fighting for trophies then he won’t need to worry about it happening again.

Mate that’s hyperbole from you, and I love your insight and agree with you normally.
It’s a one off game, chances of CL were slim at best.
You know the hate runs deep. You know how goons are unbearable when they’re winning, especially when we’re involved
You’re being as stubborn as Ange in your views and rationale. Sometimes you need to look and listen at others and accept perhaps you’re not 100% correct.
Fans wanting to lose a game, that otherwise would crown are arch enemies champions. Has no correlation or bearing on us wanting a winning/competitive team from this point forward (or at any point previously)
There is a correlation, you just can't see it.

Funny thing is, so many of these people having a go at Postecoglou are now running their mouth off all over social as if we've won something...

Arsenal can still technically win the league. Stranger things have happened.

If that happens, these same people will be mocked on social and rather than holding their hands up and admitting they went too early or too much, they'll start picking holes in our club.

Same toxic cycle every time.

You can be quietly relieved that we haven't helped the other lot out but you don't have to celebrate it for banter points. There's a world of difference...

Either way, I'm pretty sure Postecoglou's comments were much more all encompassing than an "attack on the fans" but some people seem, well, a bit fragile about it all and have taken it personally...

I'm feeling pretty good about where we're heading, and I'm proud of the lads performance last night in difficult circumstances. 🙏

Yeah I think some of the celebrations from some fans have been a bit premature. It was almost like a lot of our fans treated last night’s match as the deciding match.

I fully expect Man C to beat West Ham but the league isn’t over yet.

There is a correlation, you just can't see it.

Explain it to me then.
Tell me how losing the CL final, finish 3rd and 2nd in the league to Leicester and Chelsea and losing the last 9 FA cup semis has anything to do with wanting spurs to lose yesterday

Think people are being incredibly thin skinned about this. What he’s said isn’t even that controversial is it? You expect the fans to back the team in the stadium. And you certainly don’t expect there to be a fan behind the manager constantly shouting for him to throw the game. I suspect that’s what’s motivated his words as much as anything else.

Maybe a few of us are guilty of buying into the rivalry a bit too much this week, but I can understand both sides of that argument, and I don’t think there’s too much wrong with feeling conflicted about last nights game.

He’s a winner, and he clearly hates losing.

I didn't watch the entire game on Sunday but I assume the old Trafford faithful stood in their dilapidated stadium, piss wet through cheering Arsenal on? I also assume they were all delighted and over joyed when they lost the game because it dented city's title hopes?
I raised that point earlier, according to The Guardian not the case..

Atmosphere against Arsenal showed that whether supporters want manager to stay or go, backing for team remains strong

I'll be honest I expected more from a good number of quality posters who usually display decent knowledge of the game. I don't always agree with some of what they say, but I do generally respect it. It's however become abundantly clear over the last 48 hours or so some of them have no idea whatsoever of what it means or entails to be at the top end of competitive sport.
The last few days has certainly been eye opening for sure.

Way I see it, if we'd turned up against Arsenal and Chelsea we'd probably have a reason to care about this one.

The season is over, the game was meaningless aside from an outside chance of maybe making 4th which he said was not a priority.

I don't mind fans having a bit of fun with it.
But but but, we played good football after 82 minutes

I mean I don't disagree with you, but wouldn't you say this is almost the definition of a club with 'fragile foundations'...
I love ange but the biggest fragility of the club is our defensive setup and set piece issue, the fans might have some issues and i've been vocal about it before but Ange has more going wrong then we do atm

Ange has sorted the set pieces out if you actually see how we've defended them in the last couple of games. Didn't concede from one last night either.
