Look like they've approached a coach and his said to do one

Wouldn’t surprise me. Surely paratici and lange are out there looking at candidates? At the moment he’s making all their transfer decisions look bad and they won’t like that. I bet behind the scenes it’s a mess.

This is all starting to feel a bit strange from the levy perspective. Usually he’s sacked a manager by now for this run of appalling form. Why hasn’t he? Something is going on behind the scenes we don’t know about. Either that or he’s just given up.

He’s finally realised who’s to blame for years upon this mess & doesn’t want to admit it.

are you sure about that? could have sworn utd beat city in the final ...

poch also managed to lose against a team of children in the final he did get to. history tells us that is what he is, a nearly man. yeah we'd all take "nearly" right now but it's still not what we should be aiming for.
Rather have nearly man than any other man. We have Jose and Conte and got nowhere near where Poch took us. Poch wanted a complete rebuild and should have been supported in that. I guess the new team is more or less ready made for him

Our goal difference should of taken a battering last night.

We were extremely fortunate that didnt finish 4 or 5-1.

I mean they made a dogs dinner of several chances we gift wrapped for them.

If they had done so wouldn't an approach like that be very difficult to keep out of the media ?
In any case I had assumed that it is quiet from that point of view because they had decided to keep him at the helm. If they are actively looking and speaking to other potential candidates then I suppose we get ready to go round the roundabout again.

I've been strongly against going to town on Ange until injuries get better.

However, you do have to say Dragusin and Gray have performed well and on that basis I'm not sure you can totally excuse performances for injuries.
That's true but the pivotal role in this system is the 6 and the 2 players I'm guessing he wants in that role, Bents and Gray have been unable to play in that position for any length of time. I keep banging on about it but until he can get a fully functioning midfield he's going into games with one hand tied behind his back

I have been thinking about this lots over the last week. Are we potentially "underplaying" the absentee situation ? Not just the effect of not having those players to select but the effect it has on the rmeinign squad - playing out of position, not being able to rotate, fatigue etc ?

In absolutely loathe this rhetoric of “bedwetting” people are allowed to be rightfully concerned with our plight the last 12 months.
Just because you don’t agree with it, doesn’t mean we/they are bedwetters ( sorry to dig your comment out) but I’ve seen it so much today and it’s pathetic.

current results have been terrible, we had over 100 mins to beak down a club 96 places below us in the ladder.

swrting aside the excuse of injuries the whole last 12 months haven’t been anything to write home about.
I’ve been worried for a lot longer than 12 months.

Is there actually a thought they’d sack him now?

It could explain the limited links to anyone other than a dry loan for the PSG striker. Sounds like Kinsky was identified by the data guys and perhaps they liked him no matter who’s coaching the team but they’re reluctant to make big commitments to Ange’s system otherwise.

It would also follow from the public endorsement a few weeks back, which is usually a kiss of death for coaches.

I think a big part is the lack of available alternatives and the level of support Ange still has from Munn and Lange, rather than Levy himself. If we continue losing games and relegation looks increasingly possible then panic will set in and Levy will revert to type. In that scenario I actually wouldn’t be surprised if Levy replaced all of them a la 2008 when he got rid of Ramos and Comolli in one fell swoop.

So how come CAA Base only have teenagers as clients and don't appear to represent any left backs or forwards?

I think the bigger and more relevant question is do we want to be slopping around the bottom 6 with players that have the fight of an eclair.
This is a key point many are overlooking. We are a team of big blouses. There are no fighters among this lot. Watching Son press is like a little hobby of mine now - it looks like he's doing it, but it's just for show. He's never actually going to win a turnover or corral the defender into putting his own side under pressure. So TAA and every other right back have a field day against us. Johnson has no bravery. Maddison is a show pony. None of these guys can get us out of a hole, they are all flair players when the rest of the team is playing well.

Solanke looks robust, but is isolated most of the time. And Kulu can handle himself but looked very leggy and spent vs Atsenal.

Instead of picking key positions we need to fill, it's more important to sign real men. We're too childish and timid. And if Ange can't recognize that, he's shares a good chunk of responsibility for it. One of Slots first messages a couple of games into his tenure was you're benched if you can't compete in personal duals. We need much more of that.

100 % mate. We're missing some muscle ie Hojberg, Kane, Lloris, Dier even Skipp
