In my opinion I understand why Ange came across as frustrated in the post match interview, I’m not sure I agree with his view that we deserved to win the game today but I also think we didn’t deserve to lose.

On the balance of play I’d say a draw would have been a fairer result but the age old saying in football, over the course of a game you don’t always get what you deserve in a game.

Under the circumstances of how we were blighted with injuries and the additional bout of flu I thought we put in a decent shift and never seemed to give up and kept going. Against a really in form team we can count outrselves unfortunate not to come away from the game with a point.

But just a few weeks ago, people were complaining that Gray was being picked and given minutes over Spence.

Bergval got a couple of chances, once sent off and the other he was lost out there, so I can understand him being eased in.for his confidence.

Reguilon was so out of favour by all our managers and was as good as gone.

Spence wasn't ability but question over his commitment. A decision two other managers also came to.
There's always an excuse defending the manager, shit there still people arguing AVB is still good

The argument about Gray has always been about he should be in midfield. Spence should be a RB. Gray has exclusively played in Europe which spence can't

Bergvall, I agree with but had been dropped when results didn't even matter as we were struggling for players. Shit Ange didn't even play Bentancur for 90mins in europa and continuously played bissouma despite him being gassed

The rotation this season has just been weird

Reguillon hasn't been at the club since Conte's first season, this is the first season he has been an option

Are some of you guys so dense that you can't see the real issue isn't Ange and is who funds the transfers? Not trying to derail this into a Levy bashing, but fundamentally he's employed a manager with a philosophy the fans want with a formation tailored for specialised players in many specific positions and not really been given them to him?

Top class wingers are a minimum for this system and we still have 0 of them.

A quality DM is needed for this system, we have none of them.

Injuries have absolutely fucked us.

Ange isn't flawless, but he's far from our biggest problem.

There's only two reasons to stick with him as far as i can see. Firstly there's no one to replace him right now, and it isn't like anyone is going to be able to turn things around with this depleted squad anyway. Secondly the players are still playing for him, which surprises me a bit after the outburst against Werner a few weeks back.

In my opinion we may as well stick with him until the end of the season, but barring some massive turn around in form he should be gone as soon as the season ends. I expect the injuries to continue atleast until we get knocked out of all the cups. The injuries may be a mitigating factor for our form, but they could also be a sign of the long term damage he is doing to our squad because there is no way all these muscular injuries are a coincidence. At least our youngsters and forgotten players are getting some game time i guess.

Nobody cares or remembers if you are Ange in or Ange out, so no need to preface every message with it. Just Sit on the fence and say you were right with whatever happens to Ange in hindsight and COYFS 👍

Doesn't seem like complete list even from 97/98, since there are 8 games stints second season from Ramos (0,25 ppg) ought to be standout. Santini missing too(1,18 ppg).
Maybe they took them out as it was only 8 games? Santini was 03/04 right? So pleat got the credit for that season.

I think since the beginning of October we have played 14 league games and accumulated 14 pts , so 1pt per game

What are we doing then because he isn’t getting those wingers? Gray has clearly been brought as the long term DM solution and he has defended that.

I hate levy and enic. More than anyone but both parties can be at fault here.

There is a question every season on the radio shows/podcasts and even forums ask:

Would you rather have CL and no trophy or no CL and a trophy?

I dont care about the league and it was clear from the transfer window in the summer we got younger, not better so we can't expect the manager to improve the results especially with some key personnel gone without a like for like replacement.

So, there's likely no CL this season as we are currently 11 points off 5th. So as far as im concerned if he gets us a trophy at the end of the season. It's a good season.

Problem is, in the summer we will lose one or both of Bissouma and Bentacur since they are 27/26 with one year left. So we will have to replace them as well as find a long term replacement for Son

I do think it was a mistake not to have Spence in our European squad, and as i have said I'd also have liked to have seen Gray in midfield.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and what none of the blaming Ange for all our injuries takes into account is the fact that we have a medical team and players are passed fit to play.

If for example our medical team where telling Ange said player needed rest, or if said player was telling Ange they were not fit to play and he was then taking a chance on them, I'd agree with you. But to date, I've not read or heard anything to that nature.

Is he guilty of taking a chance on players and having them return too early, then potentially yes there may be something in that, but I very much doubt this was against the advice of our medical team.

But there is 8 games season from Poch and 10 games season from Nuno, so seems bit purposeful?
Agreed not sure, as I’m sure you guessed I nicked it.

I just found it an interesting bit to share. Happy to delete if we think it’s really wrong.

Agreed, I don't come in here much anymore because there's 40 ish pages every game and it's exhausting.

Same as Conte, if we aren't going to back the manager fully then why bother appointing them in the first place?

Same old boring fucking story.

The Ange out lot will be saying the same thing again in 12-18 months with whatever new manager they appoint.

I’m more Ange in than I’ve ever been. Everything was against him today - refereeing, commentators, media/pundits, certain sections of our own fanbase - this just makes me back him all the more. The players are clearly all in on what he’s trying to do, fuck it so am I!!
I want us to win because I love the club.

But winning under Ange would be amazing as it's always great to see someone who gets mocked or told that they won't be a success go on and succeed.

It would shut a lot of people up........for a while

Well yeah and none of it will change unless he starts backing someone. On the flip side just because someone stays that doesn’t mean it will miraculously start working.

Nonsense, it’s not a shoddy, hastily put together spreadsheet at all 👀
