Where is the next win coming from?

We’re in absolute free fall lads.

Every team has injuries and a tough schedule, but it’s the same issues every week for us.

Seems no matter who the opponent is they play really well and we’re unlucky - be it Liverpool or be it Wolves, both at opposite ends of the table.

We’re crap!

He has to go.
Looking at the upcoming fixtures I don’t think it’s anytime soon. Maybe we need that new manager bounce and a fresh pair of eyes. I don’t know anymore

My biggest concern is the long term wellbeing of some of our players. These constant injuries are surely a direct result of these kamikaze tactics & it can’t be going unnoticed by the people upstairs. We can’t keep going on like this it’s killing us.

Not sure, someone mentioned that we're currently paying Ange about 5 times what Iraola is earning... In a lot of cases money talks.
It has to be someone of that ilk, we simply cannot do another 180 and go for a different style and have another churn of players that ultimately won’t be right for the manger.

I feel utterly dejected and at a loss with spurs right now. I want Ange to stay till at least the end of the season, and am encouraged by his adaptions today.

I believe that with fit players he can bring us success, but I also recognise that rushing VDV and Romero back for Chelsea was foolish in the extreme.

He has more to give with a fit squad, unlike mourinho/conte/stellini/nuno when it was clear they needed to go at their allotted time.

He was trying to be more pragmatic today. It just didn't work cause our squad's paper thin and our second string defence is knackered. Can blame his style but frankly he shouldn't have to be turning to Reguilon, a player we signed four years ago and we've been trying to turf out since 2022.
Or you could just say Reg did ok and maybe if the manager used the squad better the injury situation might not be as bad.

In defense of Ange you also have to question the quality of our current side.

Is Forster, Dragusin, Gray, Bissouma, BJ, Son (the 2024 edition), Udogie, Porro (as a defender) really better than the teams we see from West Ham, Wolves, Bournemoth, Fulham, Forest etch?

I think not.

We get fooled by a high net spend for youngsters that may or may not make it, but overall our squad is simply not very good and not equipped to play multiple times a week.

I change how I feel on a weekly basis but retain the notion i want Ange to succeed

The second half looks a bit Conte-ball to me

That's actually quite refreshing when it comes to Ange to be honest.

I felt like today was more of a performance that highlighted our real lack of quality in fairness. Not that I think it was great, but it also quite easily could have been 3-1 before it was 2-2, and that was all with the problems we know we have, in no 1st choice CB's or keeper, a misfiring midfield and useless wingers in this system. There was a lot of consistent poor decision-making, execution and lack of care with the ball. The squad isn't really in a state where I expect us to be all over Wolves in a fashion that I do think we're still capable of.

I feel for Ange in a way because I do think it's all been a combination of some of his own wrongdoings, mass injuries, and nowhere near enough help from the club regarding incomings. It's not like other situations with managers to me, in which it feels like there's simply no way back at all. I think it will most certainly get better with players returning and players coming in January. How much better and whether Ange's approach is still comfortably worth putting stock into is another matter though.

I think people are forgetting just how many times Kane bailed us out the last few years too. Take him out of the team and we're pretty average really.

Yeah but in fairness I would have given them more time too because of their proven successes. Any of them with enough time could have developed us into something, including Ange imo. I just think the way Ange is doing it more matches with the club’s DNA.

We’ve just got to have more patience. Unless we’re going to spend money like Chelsea it’s not gonna happen overnight.

Both Jose and Conte demand big money signings for the now. That was why I was surprised that Levy went for them, and even more so in hindsight (as he presumably never intended to meet their demands).

Whereas Ange recently has highlighted the need for experienced reinforcements, he seems to be more focused on getting the right player types rather than the big names per se.

If we had a winger that could hold the ball for more than 2 seconds the tactics would give the team half a chance to get into the right end of the pitch.

Ange is a top bloke but we need a change now.

Our form over the last year is unacceptable regardless of the injuries we’ve had.

I refuse to believe that there isn’t another manager out there who could get more out of this squad.

Useful solution to the udogie injury issue:

buy another frigging left back so that udogie (with injury issues from last season) doesn’t have to play every game.

Oh yeah but Ben Davies/djed spence /Sergio Reguilon (two of which we’ve been desperately trying to flog to anyone going in the last two seasons, the other earning his testimonial and shifting to become our back up LCB)

totally anges fault, that.
no one else to blame
