What puzzles me is the inconsistency.

We beat city away, thrashed Villa. So there is something there.

Yet we lose to Ipswich, Palace and whatever bottom team who has not won a game for a while.
Dude there is no inconsistency

We have won 1 drawn 1 and lost 4 after a Thursday match!

Ipswich, Palace, Brighton and Fulham were all after a europa league match

The only win came against a team who played europa league match

Bielsa got a lot of stick for his lack of rotation and the team dropping off in the second half.

The only difference is we are dropping off in December because we have injuries and he can't make minimal changes

It’s not random or inconsistent, there’s a clear recipe to succeed against us. Press hard, let us make mistakes, counter and punish us for them.

We won against City because they exposed themselves, which is the reason for their torrid form.

Beating City twice, thrashing Villa and Manure along with all of the dire performances is the very definition of inconsistency.

Smart move though.

Start calling out individual bad performances so senior players step up, but do it to the guy who isn’t actually our player.
100%, it’s very good man management. Also turns the screws on the higher ups too. Showing he needs reinforcements, but not reducing value of an asset we own.

If there were a clear managerial candidate out there I think he’d be gone but the lack of stand out choices mean I think we stick with him until the summer.

He's done.
I saw it last season and said so only to get bashed.
He played Maddison when he was woefully out of form and cost us champions league ( blessing in disguise) with Gio just sat on the bench.
Hes doing the same thing this year with Djed and Reg.
His tactics have been sussed and doesn't have a plan B through sure ignorance or being tactically inept.
I'm not judging our current squad until we get someone who has a plan B.
Nice guy but out of his depth.
If you think reg or djed are the answer to the issues, give your head a wobble.

I mean it's not like he's the only manager we've had that haven't rated those three.

Teams that all came to play to some extent which resulted in fairly open games. That’s the only time we’ve been able to win recently.
We’ve been consistently poor for a year now.

Yeah he's right but also a sign the pressure is getting to him

But he keeps picking these guys as well

problem is like with all our managers who else to pick. Can’t play Solanke every minute of every game. Our managers shouldn’t have to be playing Werner. That is on the club not the manager. They need better options.

He needs to start looking in the mirror rather than throwing players under the bus in interviews.
He often says it's down to him tbf. This is the first time I've seen him be this explicit against an individual. Agree that I don't really like it though.

Could try something different...Madders on the left, anything.

He’s absolutely dragging us through shit right now it’s consistently embarrassing. I don’t see how he turns it around whatsoever.

Levy’s signing
Ange’s repeatedly said that all signings are approved by him.
Werner’s essentially a poor man’s Brennan, who’s a limited player that chucks in with goals at times. Werner barely even does that. Neither can control the ball to save their life in a system that requires it, and Ange still wanted them.

Ange’s and Lance’s squad building needs to be seriously questioned.

I'm a bit split about picking out Werner. I'm more annoyed at Ange or the club, whoever had the most influence, in the fact that we even re-signed Werner for this season and didn't try to bring in actual quality.

Ange is annoyed but it's like, what the fuck did you expect. I for one am not surprised at all if Werner has a bad or shocking game.
