I have no idea if Ange is the right man to manage this club.

But I still maintain that we need to see this through. I'm really hoping that our buying committee is working hard on some January signings and working with the manager to try to provide him with what the squad lacks.

I can't think of any our strongest first XI who get into Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City or Arsenal's first team.

Maybe VdV at a push. But we're so far off that top level now. That's not on Ange.

And he probably would not. He knows how to play every team, he would not accept the players efforts.

So your saying, Bournemouth, Ipswich, Palace, Leicester, Brighton, list goes on have better players than us?
No, so you are saying we have a better team than Man city?

Gone from playing well but not getting the rewards, to playing badly (palace, ipswich, Bournemouth)

Injuries don't help but there's enough in the squad to be beating these teams.

I want it to work out for Ange but his in game subs have been pretty awful lately.

Need van de ven back ASAP or it could be the end for Ange

i find it staggering that people seem so convinced that other managers couldn't get more out of this squad.
Which is funny, because I’m amazed people think that someone else could when Jose, Conte and now Postecoglue can’t. But yep, the next guy definitely will.

Mason after getting the "Can you drop by the office first thing tomorrow, COYS Daniel" text right after the match.

We spend a fair bit of money these days but we also seem to be able to (legitimately) bemoan the state of the squad continuously.

Pretty telling, really.

Honestly? The gap's not that big, particularly with Bournemouth and Brighton. The truth is the mid-table sides have, on average, gotten better, and we've been declining for about six years. I think there's potential in some of these players and in this system but overall I think we're currently a midtable team getting midtable results.

If we get rid of ange im done! The injuries we have at the moment is not fair for any manager.

I wouldn't have the stomach for another ride.

Although alot of us keep saying that and here we are

What manager can possibly succeed under this culture fostered by Levy and the board alongside a fan base who clearly don’t have the stomach to endure a project.

Was it just that one super loud bloke himself booing and calling ange a fat naughty word or was it actually a decent section of the fans booing as it was hard to tell tbh.
It was more because he seemed to be getting into it with a fan that I posted than the booing itself.

I look at the fit players available to him, the injury to Davies, the massive overload of fixtures we have and I consider that within that context we really shouldn’t be laying the blame for a narrow defeat at the door of the manager.

The squad is down to its bare bones, many of the players that are fit are coming back from niggles or injuries, others are unsuited or out of form. The team’s held together with string right now.
That's reasonable. But the lack of tactical flexibility is a huge problem. Just playing 1 way all the time, especially when so strapped is asking for problems.

Also, there's been worse displays than this so far with a fully fit side. There are clearly issues with the side. Palace, Brighton, and another I can't remember were hideous.

I really like Ange, impossible not to. But I always thought his unwillingness / inability to flex would cause him issues at.some point. There's still time for him to play out of it over Xmas.

As for that 'fan' shouting at the end. Deary me. Some.issues there.
