Whatever was behind taking control of the ball again towards the end, when we’d normally shit the bed, im all for

Was what good teams too - midfield worked quite well today

Worries a little how we’ll deal with injuries piling up, mind

Great result and performance today though - massive

2 good wins this week and I personally felt we looked a bit less vulnerable too in both games, progress

Very impressed considering that in my opinion we are really lacking in quality DM, creative CM and dribbling, maybe GK too. Plus Romero can't defend anymore and we also have no real depth at LB. To get the best out of his system we still need couple of good players. He is making tweaks and is more proactive with his subs. We need to sign some win-now players, we did well for future proofing.
Such an odd post after today's performance

Got called a happy clapper for arguing for patience last week but there's just no getting around the fact that this place is far more active when we lose than when we win. Barely a page after putting four past a CL team.

You know it how goes - they're patiently waiting for a slip-up to flood this thread with complaints.

I think it's uncomfortable for some posters to write positive things or enjoy good things as they believe the negative is right around the corner.

Except from the defending for the corner, I was really impressed by the way in which we defended in general today as well. Other than that one chance for Watkins that he dragged wide, they barely had a sniff. Impressive considering it's mostly the defensive side to this team that leaves me any bit concerned. All without VDV too. Don't think we conceded many clear-cut chances to City either.

Thought Bentancur was really good in sweeping up gaps in the wide areas when needed today also.

The last 2 games does feel like progress and it was needed after the Brighton and palace shambles.
A win against Ipswich and a performance against city (obviously would love to beat them but a performance away from home is key) would be a great way to build upon it.
That 2nd half today was immense

Didn't need plan B today, just plan A implemented properly. Team pressed well first half, but flat in attack.

Felt like Ange encouraged full backs to get up quicker and the wide men to take their man on and we saw instant results.

I thought the sub was odd, then Richarlison played in a great assist. Shows what we know. We just need to keep on finishing games, as apart from palace and Coventry, we have not had many poor performances. Hopefully Ange can help keep this momentum up now after wins against 2 very good sides.

Obviously a great second half, but I thought the first half was really good as well. We just didnt create a GREAT chance. But we were ALL over them

Fair play to Ange, was up against one of the most tactically aware coaches in the league today and smashed his side up.

Ange is adapting and seeing the error of his ways, he’s reacting and making changes at the right time now, something that cost us against Brighton.

If we can just get Vic more confident on corners we’ll be in a great place.

Isn't it like just 2 goals conceded from set pieces this season? Then you get Cates saying "Spurs concede from yet another corner". Definitely need to work with Vicario on them but not as bad as it's made out.

It really feels like that half could be the turning point this season. I also feel like Ange has adjusted and tweaked things since the Palace game. He's much more proactive with his subs for starters.

I've been critical as of late but kudos to Ange. Massive week for him and the team.
