- 6 wins from 7.
- One bad half in 7 games.
- Second best goal difference in the league.
- set piece defending has improved massively.
- forward players getting back to fitness meaning more option.
- fast, free flowing exciting football.
- tactical ability to change the game.

Can we please have enough of the moaners in this thread now. Let’s enjoy this excellent win and look forward to the next game.
While I am fully Ange in and one of his biggest supporters, dont forget Coventry lol. That was tough viewing at best 🤣 🤣. But I love the way we are going & have very close to 0 complaints right now.

Good win today. Still don't know what to expect one minute to the next with this team though. Deservedly smashed them in the end but on another day could have easily been 2-0 down at half time. Good change at half time, Sarr was great in the second half.

Saw something today which we haven't seen for a long time from Ange which was a change in approach early.

His changes gave us a more solid Base in the second half and really changed our approach.

I genuinely want him to succeed and hope this is a sign of his own development.
The absolute fucking arrogance of this. The bloke's been managing since Adam was a lad but it's only now that he's at the mighty Tottenham that he has learnt what it truly takes to succeed.

Jesus wept.

Attacking wise we're doing great, up there in goals scored. But defensively we're still conceding poor goals.

I think second half last week aside we're definitely on the right track and Ange has shown he will make changes and tweak where necessary.

Stick with him.

People focus too much on the chances the opposition gets. It will happen most games regardless. We also came close first half with Porro, Johnson and Porro efforts just wide and Porro brought a good save from the keeper. Add to that the goal. West Ham had about 3 good chances and scored 1. Second half Ange tweaked it and we gave nothing up but continued creating the other end. If we create at least 3 more chances than the opposition I think we win a lot.

Still applies. We basically just fall to pieces continuously and concede weak goals
We’ve conceded more than once twice in 11 games this year. How this equates ‘falling apart continuously’ only you know. We’ve fallen apart once

It feels like every time we win there’s comments about how Ange tweaked things and that’s why we won, and every time we lose it’s because he’s stubborn and refused to change.

I think that idea is wrong and the truth is sometimes the way we play works - we click- and we win and sometimes it doesn’t and we lose. And sometimes we just get a bit of luck, and sometimes we don’t .

We made 8 changes and won. How often does that happen.

Sometimes yes.

But we looked a lot more balanced and secure second half after the change.

Yeah but this happens every time we win or lose recently. When we win it’s because Ange has “learned” or “adapted”, and when we lose it’s because of his principles or whatever.

I have no problem with people calling it how they see it. It’s what makes this forum interesting. But I think people are seeing what they want to see. They view matches through a particular lens and interpret everything through that lens.

We were always gonna smash West Ham. Palace will be the acid test. These away games where we play into the opponents hands by fanning the flames when we don’t need to.

Well yes its not every time, but today the tactical change was definitely significant.

Ange deserves a lot of credit for being proactive with his half time sub today.

Last game I do think there was justified frustration at his inactivity after the first goal. Today however he was spot on and turned the game in our favour.

Whether or not he had the Brighton game at the back of his mind when he made the change we probably will never know but ether way the decision and outcome was spot on.
Also goes to prove that his comments about subs should really not be taken as a serious thought in his mind.

Of course we needed subs vs Brighton but
1. He didn't exactly have attacking options.
2. He doesn't like journos asking him questions that sound like they are telling him how to do his job so he fobs them off.
