I used to quite like them because you could chat about the game while watching the game at home.
It is as a bit like being in the pub but these days, I steer clear most of the time when we're playing.
I'm too old for that shit.

I'll be in there before the game and after the game, sometimes popping in at half time but the constant barrage when we're not doing well is tiresome.

Sometimes I'll try it again, for old times sake but it'll often force me to put down my phone and focus on what I'm watching instead.
Too many people just watch the games through critical eyes and just have to tell everyone what they're thinking as they're thinking it.
There’s a lot to be said for shouting at the TV as well.

Stop detailing the thread. I want my doom and gloom Ange thread of overreactions and overreactions to the overreactions where I remember my hopelessness of being COYS mixed in with sensible analysis that brings me back to patience

He's been told everywhere he's gone that his way needs to change and it won't work. Until it actually doesn't work I see no reason for him to change it. Got nothing wrong with what he's saying.

If we are the one that it finally doesn't work for then so be it, but he has no reason to bend until then. I'm behind him 100%.

Thinking of all those famous managers who went “yeah fair play I was wrong, what would everyone else like me to do?”.

He has to have confidence in his methods. If he doesn’t, what’s the point of him being there at all?

I don’t get match day threads at all. You wouldn’t be posting in there if you were in the stadium watching the game so why would you do it at home. Surely the point is to watch the game. I guess people will say they can do both but it’s got to be at least a little bit distracting.

Before and after the game fine but during the game just watch the game and shout at the TV like a normal person.
Worse are the people who watch videos of people watching the game

Yes, and?

Really not sure what you’re communicating here?

watch out for the blind monkey?
peekaboo?
see no evil?
in addition to my own language (Hercleanese), i also can see through my hands?
this is an unwatchable video?
hey hey, were the monkeys, and Ange is gonna monkey around?

Don't see any problems with the vid to be fair. It's a hill he's prepared to die on if his way doesn't work so fair play to him.

There will be zero room for excuses come judgement day. His prophecy will either come to fruition and we will all be over the moon, or he will be just another name in a line of stubborn managers we shouldn't have hired.

Time will tell.

He certainly lives up to the club motto.

Even if he doesn't reach the heights we hope for, I think he has brought with enough positives for us to build on. So, I'd say the hire was a decent pick either way.

It’s been a great hire. He’s doing all the things that he speaks about in that interview right now. He’s trying to make an impact on the culture and direction of the club. He’s trying to lay down a marker to achieve new heights without excuses.

I’m bloody here for it. The fact he is coaching our team in line with the club motto is brilliant.

THFC has always been questioned its whole existence. There’s always been an uncompromising drive to be our own club and do things our way. And that’s why we are so hated and reviled. We aren’t any other club, and that’s why I fell in love as a young American looking for a PL club to support. Yeah, we fall and crash and burn many times but we’ve also done some fucking amazing, first-ever, one of a kind things in our history. There’s only one Hotspur and that’s why we get so much shit. I desperately hope Ange succeeds. and that the success he brings will be a new era and major chapter in that club history.

I'd love some psychological opinions from experts about this because it's so interesting in a way.

Matchday threads when we win convincingly and play well - Around 40-50 pages.

Matchday threads when we are down or drawing at half time and not looking great - Around 60-70 pages.

Matchday threads when we are winning then lose/play poorly and lose - 90-100 pages.

It's almost like so many on here have a compulsion to just be negative and almost thrive and just get straight on here when we've played poorly or had a shit result. Yet nowhere to be seen when we play well and win.

It's bizarre really.

The posts during matches is odd to me aswell, i'm watching the game not commenting constantly in the match thread about every single error a player might make.
