This is what he is. An average manger. He’s not for me.
Don’t ask me who’d I’d take instead right now as I haven’t got a clue

Is he really good enough to be managing us? Serious question. He has no game plan at all.
Jesus really. :X3::banghead:

We tore Man.U apart last weekend and it could've been 5/6-0 at Old Trafford, we've just lost one away game after winning 5 games in a row.

Yes Ange should've probably made some changes a bit sooner but he didn't have many attacking options off the bench today with Son, Odobert and Richarlison injured and saying he has no game plan at all is just reactionary emotional madness.

Just like we shouldn't get too carried away when we play well and win lets also not go overboard with today's loss, fact is we played well for 45mins not 90 today and that will happen as our team is still growing and developing.

Lets calm down with the knee-jerking, rest up over the international break come back and smash West Ham hopefully with Son and maybe Richy back.

I’m not sure he had much on the bench to do that tbh.

I also think that whilst he wants to win every single game, he also has an eye on the longer term.
He might not get to see that longer term if he intentionally sabotages the team in a misguided attempt to teach lessons that may never be learned.

He's paid to win matches that his team are playing though?

So he didn't make changes because long term we might not shit the bed and lose a two goal lead? Nonsense.
But management is about risks.

He took risks in fielding a bunch of kids in Europe and it worked out. Perhaps he took a risk in letting his players wrestle the game back and that risk didn’t work out.

That’s a really bad loss.

Really hits the confidence, not just the players but the fans too.

Just tighten it up at HT like anyone else would, even Pep does it

Intentionally sabotaged?

Really?

I’m pretty sure he thought it was possible to win the game with the players on the pitch, I’m just saying that he has to balance immediate wins with the development of the team and maybe got it wrong tonight.

Overall the league results aren't good enough.
Still hoping for a UEFA or cup trophy though.

Disagree, nothing wrong with going after a third, but when the tide has turned and we have lost control changes should have been made.

Typical Ange performance.
This is what we signed up for. This is what we deserve . So no further complaints…

Resigned to fact that we will win when we shouldn’t win and lose when we shouldn’t … net net , nice to watch but never challenge for title in sustained manner

He’s too arrogant for my liking, out there like he’s baffled as to what’s happened.
When his lack of in game management led us to this.
He’s not the man to lead us to a trophy, unless he changes his way.
If he hasn't realised by now then he never will imo.

Cant be having 8 players bombing forward with only 2 players that consistently stay back.

Then you factor in Brightons quality attacking players that are better than ours and it's all a bit baffling.

The first risk is about showing faith in the younger generation. The second is far riskier. We’ve seen this film before, and guess what? The ending hasn’t changed. He’s now well into his second year at the club, he needs to be proactive in games that are getting away from us or he won’t be here for much longer.

We have a game plan.

It's the in game management that we are lacking. We don't react, and he doesn't react when we are under the kosh, which we were at 2-1, and then 2-2. He waited until we were losing to make subs that would have made a difference at both scorelines. That's a huge issue.

I get we've got a long term project here but he really needs to react quicker. It's grating on me seeing him stand there with his hands in his pockets while we are shitting ourselves.

Sitting in and riding the storm is fine for 10 minutes while Brighton try and force the issue. Then we can wrestle control back.

We were so comfortable in that game. That's why it's so grating. Huerzeler responded and Ange didn't.

The hope is that results like last week followed by this week will finally allow the players to realise Ange's system is brilliant but only works if you keep the intensity up for 90 minutes. Every game we've lost this year has been when we're off it and passive.

You don't have to score 4 goals to win every game with this style, one will do it, but you cannot drop and let teams have time on the ball. City don't do it, and as soon as the players realised it never stops, we will get results like this out of our system.
