Faultless. Lots of hard work ahead, but he isn’t fucking around!
I think what comes across most is that he seems supremely comfortable in his own skin. Already happy to joke with the reporters, answer off the cuff and just be himself - just very genuine. The man is a hugely impressive orator and presence. The steel behind the twinkle in the eye is pretty mesmerising. You can see why the people he has worked with and in charge of have been so impressed with him and speak so highly of him.
I don't know if he is going to be successful with us but I really really hope he is.
That’s all true but I’m still not fully in until I hear him say ****I think what comes across most is that he seems supremely comfortable in his own skin. Already happy to joke with the reporters, answer off the cuff and just be himself - just very genuine.
I really think the players will warm to that, as they will know where they stand pretty early on. The knock on effect being that those who aren't part of his plans will know it and so hopefully push for a move elsewhere.

Football is meant to be an emotional rollercoaster! Some of you must be doing a complete 180 on your views if I compare the overwhelming positivity here to a lot of the misinformed negative nonsense I read in the 'next manager' thread a few weeks ago![]()
Even if he flops (and I doubt it) that's the type of a manager we should always go for."It's not just about winning but it's the manner in which you play your football. I'm explicit in saying my teams must play a certain way."
That should please a lot of people.
I definitely like him a lot since these first few bits and pieces have come out (which I do with any manager really even ones I’m not keen on like Mourinho and Conte)Some of you must be doing a complete 180 on your views if I compare the overwhelming positivity here to a lot of the misinformed negative nonsense I read in the 'next manager' thread a few weeks ago![]()
I agree wholeheartedly with this but I do worry about our supporters to be blunt and their ability to view things that way.He alluded to it slightly but it’s worth reiterating that it’s so important that we get (and stay) behind him even if early results aren’t good, like they weren’t at Celtic.
With Nuno, I think everyone knew the football was dreary as fuck and would stay that way. Also we were getting battered every game even when we were winning initially, so it was the right decision to take early on. With Postecoglou, we all know he will try and play exciting football so he might need more time to turn these players around - players who have been inviting pressure on to them every game for the last 4 years even when we play teams in divisions below us!
Even if we’re 10th by Xmas, as long as I can see what we’re trying to do, then I’d be more than happy to give him time. He may even need a couple of seasons, it seems to have worked for them down the road.
We’ve had a handful of amazing games over the last 4 years but 80% of them have been so hard to watch. Can’t wait to enjoy watching us play again.
