Now that we are going with 2 number 8s we need to sign another one in Jan to rotate
Bergvall is perfect for it, Sarr offers a different style of player but I would also like to see Gray there at times. So I think we're good there.

Utd were a shambles but we looked a lot better in possession, as well as winning back possession. Lots of incisive passing from the back four and Bentancur breaking the lines

His whole system looks so much better with two attacking midfielders, the fullbacks moving inside then totally makes sense. We need to get another player like Bentacur (unless Gray is that player).
Whether Gray will step up as a DM in Bentancur’s absence will be one of the next questions that we will soon get an answer on.

Anyone who has seen United over the last 18 months will tell you this. They have been quite easy to impose yourself on.

However, they've also managed to scrape results that they haven't deserved.

We were so good yesterday we didn't even give them a sniff of pulling that off.

Even Liverpool didn't dominate them as much for the first 30 minutes and actually caught United out on a counter attack. We didn't need that, we just steamed right through them.

Morgan Rogers is the one, would complement kulusevski and Maddison perfectly. Very unlikely we could get him now though and sums up why Villa may have been willing to sell Ramsey. Top class that kid.

We need to get out of this "back up" thing. Not aimed at you specifically but at the fanbase as a general. Sign players ready to play in 1st team and compete for a place.

Funnily enough I'm also in that camp

I mentioned it in another post but I stepped away from this site after reading this and the Brennan thread a couple of weeks back.

After the Newcastle game I felt it, we dominated, we didn't get the result but we were definitely on the right path. The only game this season where we've been off it is against Coventry and that was due to a lot of inexperienced players.

I have to say Ange incorporates everything I want, the bravery of the football is astounding, I've come to the conclusion that it's me (as a fan) that has to get used to it.

It wasn't that long ago that we couldn't even get a shot off in the first half of games (Conte) now we're getting stronger and stronger.

There's going to be a few bad results along the way, but I'm convinced that Ange will take us to the top. And I'm talking about the league.

This season might be too early for us, but it wouldn't surprise me if we are there abouts in April. Even if we're not it doesn't matter, we have the right man, a lot of the right players and we are going in the right direction.

We've got quite a bit of depth as well these days. We should be able to manage injuries a lot better this season.

I firmly believe that with a bit of patience we will be creating something very, very special here.

The glory is coming I can feel it in my balls.

I can feel it in your balls too if you’d just unzip already

Pleased to say you can start to see some improvements of when to pass at the back. Fullbacks appear to be less rigidly coming in too which is good.

Long may improvements continue
