I watched the press conference earlier and I can see why he gets so grumpy. It’s just questions for questions sake a lot of the time with a desperate hope for any kind of quote.

They should be shortened drastically.
Agreed awful questions nothing insightful or probing that leads to insight

Best performance under Ange today and without our captain.
We’ve absolutely dominated them 😊 fantastic performance start to finish very very impressive.
Ange's style of football in full flow now yay.

More ups and downs to come but this performance and result should give any doubters confidence that we just need to keep backing Ange and this project and good times will follow.

Good performance, yes.
However, if we have aspirations….there is a huge space in training and with the psychologist…to become way more clinical.
We are growing nicely. Now it’s time to become killers.

We were brilliant today but we've played better than today. Nothing wrong with this people just forget how good we were at times last year. I think Villa Away was better than this

For all of you in here almost calling for his head only a week or two ago please raise your hands so we can all stare at you disapprovingly.

Each to their own and we were very good away to Villa last season your right but I just feel like away to Man.U at Old Trafford without our captain and when this could’ve been 5/6-0 was a really really big performance.

Our GD +7 is stating to look juicy.

GD is usually a good indicator as to how good a team is overall, if we’d won 1 of Newcastle or Leicester which we really deserved to we’d be right up near top 4 only a few points off top an with a joint best GD.

All things considered a really solid start to the season.

Much more like it but we have played well in every game except Coventry (yet still won). The overreaction has been a bit silly early but not even surprising at this club. One thing I will say however is just how good would we be if we went out and signed a few world class players. This brand of football deserves titles and would go down in history as one of the all time great teams if it won big titles this way. Hopefully these youngsters develop into world beaters instead.

I don’t remember seeing a single person calling for a sacking but this made me chuckle.

Ps. I’m off to the Johnson thread with a smug smile on my face with the plan to do the exact same thing.

Fair play to Ange, the work rate and overall speed of play overwhelmed Man U today.
To be a spurs fan under Ange is to accept that we'll set up aggressive to score 3 or 4 a game. On the flip side our commitment of players will always leave us open for the opposition to have a good chance or two.
Still think we need to be more clinical if this is the way. But we'll done today

As the bloke who wrote the recent book on Ange said on a podcast recently “once the goals start flowing under Ange they just keep on coming”

do you think Ange wants ‘world class’ players?
He moulds the players into how he wants them to pla,y, that may not be so easy with more ‘finished’ players

I'm not sure if this goes in the Deki, Ange or Johnson thread but I think moving Deki into the centre not has gotten the best out of him but also the best out of Johnson. The ability Deki has to work in that inside channel occupies the minds of the opponents defence and I think that's allowing Brennan to get in to some better shooting positions.

Of course he wants world class players, every manager wants world class players.
The reason they're world class is not just because of their natural talent, but also their attitudes and ability to follow instructions to the letter.
