Bloody love these.
That's how I see it, a brilliant performance with some great football but against a very poor side that seemed to give up after the second goal. We will face much stronger opposition over the coming weeks let's see how we are then. COYS!In fairness, Jordan did say this morning on TS that Spurs outplayed United and made them look second best throughout the game.
As a bigger club United will always get the headlines for a big home loss than any other team.
From my point of view we played as well if not better at Newcastle (who are a better side than United) and came away with nothing.
A bit of perspective is needed, I think we outplayed a poor United side, but a team can take many positives from that game and the season so far.
Johnson is playing well
Bentancur has found his natural position (can be covered by Biss and Bergvall)
Kulu was outstanding in midfield
Solanke is finding his form from last season
And I must say that Werner was very good indeed, that he missed some chances that perhaps Son may have put away, his pace and link up play with Udogie was outstanding.
We will face tougher, better organized teams this season, but over the past four games we look like we can play good football sometimes in adverse circumstances.
The media's opinion that we play a suicidal highline is steadily being disproved, they have just never seen a team playing different tactics, and they believe that because the traditions "top four" do not play this way (taking away the tctical press) then it must be wrong, something I fond bemusing.
United had plenty of pace in their forward line yet when they had ten men created two chances one that hit the post in the first half.
Next week will be a bigger test in my opinion, so let's not get too carried away too much.
Take the three points, the way we played, but look at the opposition and take some perspective.
COYS!

Oi, Sig thief!(We’re winning in the rain, Just winning in the rain, what a glorious feeling we are happy again)
Conte smashed it to bits before he left.Whatever happened to the manager cam we did for a few seasons? Used to enjoy seeing the bench's reactions go scoring and conceding.
Conte was animated for the sake of being animated. Having a camera on Ange standing calm with his hands in his pockets is not "quality content"Whatever happened to the manager cam we did for a few seasons? Used to enjoy seeing the bench's reactions go scoring and conceding.
I'd watch it. Relaxing.Conte was animated for the sake of being animated. Having a camera on Ange standing calm with his hands in his pockets is not "quality content"
Well it would be a pretty long highlight video if it wasn’t cut in some way! They're cool, but they're hardly "uncut", are they? They seem very, very cut.
I'm seeing other clubs beginning to do their own now via social media. Even in the JLeague. It's a great way to engage with fans more personally, especially those not able to attend matches etc.Bloody love these.
I’m more shocked the PL admitting they were wrong than United actually winning the appeal.
