In a game where we had 27% possession I think that is fairly decent. We had serious troubles with our play today but I thought he was by far our best midfielder today.
Sky had it as 46% to us. Who gave us 27%?

We didn’t play badly. They played well. They’re the best side on the planet, but they couldn’t finish today and we defended with great intensity, finished with precision, found some mental strength and nicked a point.

We rode the run of the ball, unquestionably, but you have to be tough to keep that lot from scoring 4-5.

Think that’s a biased view. If it weren’t for VAR we’ve blown it again in the last minute

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. We’ll VAR ourselves to the title.

(I may or may not be drunk)

Probably been supporting this club x2 as long as you have been alive

Dondo: calling Spurs teams "fucking losers" since 19-dickety-dick.

Like I said - I don't know why you even support Spurs if that's how you feel.

Do you not even see the issue here? Even if the goal had have stood your comment was simply shit. heat of the moment or otherwise. Whether you've been supporting Spurs since Grandpa Simpson was a lad - calling your team "a bunch of fucking losers" is just a shit take.

You mean the one where it hit his hand? Like when the ball hit Rose’s and Sissy’s hands?
Exactly not hand ball. None of them are. This is ruining football. If you take away intend then it becomes random old rubbish.

5 touches in their box over 90 mins, have we ever had less? Great point but awful performance, worrying as it doesn't seem like we are progressing. Something's not right behind the scenes.

In our home game with City I think we should sing a rousing chorus of KumbayVar before and during the game. ;)

Tottenham's singing Lord, kumbayVar
Tottenham's singing Lord, kumbayVar
City's f***ed my lord, kumbayVar
Oh Lord, kumbayVar

@Barrd10

It's the new rule though. If an attacking player touches the ball with his arm in an action leading up to a goal it will be disallowed. Intent or placement of the hands or arms are no longer taken into account. The same rule would have Llorentes goal against city disallowed if it had been in effect last season

Question. Where would the ball have gone if not striking city players hand ?
I will tell you " it would have gone on its way to safety " if the ball had not struck the players hand there would not have been a goal scored as the ball was deflected into the city players path instead of going to safety.
All this bleating is getting on my nerves . They were brilliant but did not take their chances we were poor but resilient and two chances =two goals and we may be the only team to take points at the Etihad this season all this with several players not fit including Son and Ali and they had a fully fit squad I am loving hearing J.Redknap and G Neville waffling on about how wonderful City are and how woeful we are . If we can get everybody fit and the transfer window out of the way we will improve City could not play any better and its their fault if they don't put away chances . Also the sight of Pep almost in tears was Wonderful . I hope he's in tears at the end of the season as I have no respect for City because what they have achieved has been thru more than 1.3 billion pounds in a short space of time and when he first took over the squad without the millions spent his team was lucky to finish fourth.Tossers all pundits .

Your totally missing the point.
People say and do things they don’t really mean which I have already admitted too.
Your like the boring sober mate at a party telling his mates the next day what embarrassing things they did when they were drunk

Don't we usually start season like this after Pochs demanding pre-season? Good to get as many points as possible in this perioid until we hit form in a couple of months. Transfer window being open in Europe is a bit of a problem though!

How many teams will go up to City and get more. Second game of the season. No Dele or Son. Have a word.
