Winks out is a disaster IMO. Call me a downer but for me, Wanyama did not look particularly great against Huddersfield. Very slow and was caught on the ball several times. The pressure from Man City on that inner midfield if he starts will be like night and day compared to Huddersfield. Don't think he's even close to being ready for that.

I think Spurs will play 4. 5.1 with llorente holding up play for Moura and Son playing on the break. If Dier is not fit to play Wanyama and
Sissoko will have to play defensive midfield Erickson will start with Ali likely in reserve if fit.
Don't give up too early, games are usually decided on refereeing decisions at the highest level.

Last week I put a chunk on City winning and they didn’t. I’m going to lump another load on them getting through to the next round. I always win fuck all so it’s possible my inability to win monies will serve us well

Can ease wanyamas burden by playing 3 in the middle maybe

Let's just keep our powder dry and see what happens,Ajax just handed a European super power a lesson ,maybe we can do similar?

City are not a super power, they have as much champions league pedigree as we do. They're a fantastic side no doubt about that, but our boys should go there full of confidence.

Seeing ajax players celebrate on Juventus's ground got me thinking how amazing it would be if spurs players do the same at the Etihad

I hope the spurs players watched Ajax tonight and how theyre celebrating thinking to themselves what it would be like if we win the tie tomorrow...

Huge motivation not because im taking Ajax for granted but the shear ecstasy on the Ajax faces

I think we're good for at least a couple goals.

2 will mean they need 4 etc. were gonna be under the cosh but we must try to score a couple

Why do I have a feeling that Rose will play in Centre midfield (now that Winks is out) with Vertonghen on the left back role and Sanchez with Toby as Centre backs?

Audacious and tactical masterplan

Think we have a great chance to hit them on the break first 10 minutes. Either way as long as it's not over by the second half we can start to have a pop as they get frustrated
