Jesus has anyone just listened to Trevor Sinclair on Talksport talking about this?
Waffling on about how FFP is just a way to stop smaller clubs breaking into the elite...then goes on to say when QPR were punished it was right because they were spending too much money.

Sucking Abu Dhabi off, saying they're good, honest, nice people.

Absolute moron.

A Man City fan at my work has said City have evid nice that most the names you mentioned and a few other clubs (wasn't Liverpool, PSG or us) have been doing the same and will take them down with them if they get banned.

Not sure if he's just being a bit bitter as and deluded as still thinks they did nothing wrong anyway.
Well Real were almost state-funded for a while a few years back (this may have been pre-FFP though), and I don't doubt that Barca and PSG (despite what he says) have had some deals that have been at the very least in the grey area.

Would City/Abu Dhabi have evidence that proves this? Doubt it.

So many City fans/pundits/even people on here are convinced that it'll be overturned....I would fucking love it if it sticks.
This decision could be absolutely pivotal for the future of club football.

Everyone would love it. Some just think it might be too good to be true.

As I've said before, I think that if this gets overturned or diluted too much UEFA will be subjected to endless allegations of corruption and taking bungs. I also think other clubs should threaten to pull out of competitions if they're expected to put up with City, PSG etc. cheating all of the time.

He's another moron who thinks the current man city situation is to do with FFP. It really isn't, its because UEFA were lied to by Man City as to where their sponsorship money came from. It's to do with accountancy practices and not FFP.

I wonder how many of City's legitimate sponsors will walk away if they're not in the CL for 2 seasons. Presumably some of them have clauses in their contract relating to European competition?

More than likely payment structures based on European competition or the rounds they get too but probably not anything to just walk away.

they’re probably all owned by the sheik!
Just seen that the Chief Exec has said its not true. So, all a big misunderstanding and they’ll take the UEFA panel to a nice dinner on a Pacific island to explain it all for two weeks.

Did you notice their attendance yesterday ? lots of empty sky blue seats .
My theory is that a lot of football fans are on the same frame of mind as me and that the TIKA TAKA game is not for them .
Tho City are without doubt a brilliant side their style is not attuned to most British people who prefer the up and at em style aligned with good football . This tika taka style is not for me and is suited to Spanish /italion type of game .
I may be wrong and shouted down but as I say I find it hypnotic to the extent I find myself losing interest in the game .
Technically = the best. exitement wise =Boring
Just my own opinion of course .
This of course has nothing to do with FFP but maybe it does because without their cheating quite a few of these players they have would not be there and without the super technical players you cannot play their style of football .

Agree agree agree...

We all love if it they get the ban...

But city have resources to spend on lawyers to look for loop holes. Juz like chelsea transfer ban was too good to be true.

I am hopeful for one season.

And I really hope for god we don't finish 5th and have to pray the decision doesn't get over turned.

However City get their money, it sure isn't from gate receipts judging by the banks of empty seats at last nights game.

... Well...... Everything except cooperate with the initial investigation it seems!

If they have all this evidence then why didn't they just cooperate and clear them name to start with?
