i haven’t done a scientific study but I’ve seen plenty of spurs fan do it. The bloke that runs Lillywhite Lab being one of them.

I have no interest in talking about that issue but I know it’s emotive to many so I’m not shocked it’s broken into the fanbase .
You’d have to have blinkers on to think there weren’t Spurs fans laying into him.

For me the unfortunate thing about Solomon is that he is most comfortable on the left where we have Tel, Son and Moore. If Solomon was as effective off the right then I’d be all for having a look at him before deciding to sell him, but that’s not the case so I’d be all for cashing in on him.

Get this guy back.

1. He was sold because he was injured. Well everyone has been injured this season so something is wrong at the club.

2. Ange didn’t prefer him to the other wingers but now we mostly think Ange is clueless so maybe he’s wrong.

3. He’s been a star at Leeds and helped get them promoted playing 41 times and scoring 10 goals.

My bad. He is loaned.

I believe it is with the desire to
sell him though as we have so many wingers/wide attackers now (Son, Odobert, Johnson, Kulu, Tel, Richy).

I don’t understand the get rid of Solomon brigade over the other players we have. His injury was of a nature that took 18 months to recover and build up strength and trust in his body. He has been one of the best players for Leeds and deserves to be assessed by our new coaching staff in preseason.

He has skill sets that none of the above have other than Moore. There are others mentioned that I would look to get rid of before him.

I agree.

Looked like a strange decision at the time.

This is a great goal in an important game.

I understood loaning him but having an option to recall in Jan would have made more sense. As much as I like Tel I’d find it hard to believe Solomon couldn’t have done more than him if he was recalled in January instead.

We need to trim our squad down, not hold on to all the people we loaned out. Sell him.
Or sell someone/a couple of players in the squad now and replace them with a player on loan who's better?

We will not have Werner next year, we could try and sell son and replace those two players with Solomon. A younger and currently more productive player than the 2 we would lose.

He would be a good squad option, could be a good to very good starting option.

flip side - lot of competition for those wing slots, no guarantee he would be more than a squad option, takes a non-homegrown spot, and has good transfer value.

I think we will end up selling to generate funds, and because we are not entirely sold on him being a starter for us.

If we could shift others then he might be worth keeping hold of, but our record of selling deadwood for good money is poor, and ultimately he is probably worth more to us as a sellable asset than a usable one

People want Moore to play more, we'll most likely sign Tel, we also have Son, you can't have all the players, should we not win the final we'll have to get rid of players, not hoard them.

Is Mikey that kind of player, though? I don’t see him competing with Solomon, or Tel.

Yet at the same time they'll expect us to be towards the top of the table. It beggars belief really.
