I can't remember whether it was PoK, but someone said the knee injury has robbed him of his explosiveness. If that's true then the poor guy isn't getting back to where he was anytime soon, if ever.

My point is that meniscus injuries can prevent players from doing what they could do before the injury.

I'm sure he can get fit, in the sense of able to play. But there's a reasonable chance he won't be quite the same player. Look at Fati.

There was some itk that there was some concern about him losing some of his explosiveness post injury.

The loan makes sense, as it gives him a season to prove his fitness.

If we had both he and Solomon fit through last season it would have went completely differently. We would've been less toothless up front which meant we'd get hit on the break a lot less.
