because he is surplus to our squad just like Gil?
It’s a bit of a harsh judgement based on so few minutes played. Yep I get he’s had a shocker injury wise but he looked good for the most part when he’s played and I still feel he needs another crack before we can make a balanced judgement

How do you know when he has hardly played for the First Team ?
We have loaned Werner for another season and are still looking to sign a striker and a winger, it is likely that he wouldn't get many playing time even he recovers from injury
@FibreOpticJesus - so you think Solomon would play more than Son/Werner at LW?

Do you think he is good enough or has enough potential to be a CL level winger. As this is what we need.

I don’t understand how people could have made a decision that he’s not good enough based on his minutes.

he hasn’t played enough and we do t know how good he is.
It’s as simple as that.

If he can't stay fit this season we should move him on. His injury record is terrible. 1 more season to prove himself. Hopefully he can stay healthy

Agreed I thought he looked dangerous. Offered something different to our other wingers. He could be a useful weapon. IF he can stay fit
That's why I think we should give him the next season to see if he can maintain his fitness and availability. I remember that Burnley game and he was excellent in it.

Fuck me. I spend the day dealing with halfwits and numpties who aggravate the granny out of me and after a cup of tea and a large drink I make the mistake of coming on here only to find the fuckers are stalking me ;)

Few players in Europe were banned or had their contracts terminated for doing it for pro Palestine Instagram posts. So I would imagine so yes.
There’s a difference in what he’s posting versus what resulted in bans.

not going to discuss on here as to not violate rules. If he can’t stay healthy then doesn’t matter how good he is. He would have played a major role this year but couldn’t stay on the field.

I don't think I can ever remember a player being so unfairly treated. Obviously we've seen players booed before etc, but that is after seeing them for an extended period of time and fans just getting fed up, with seeing the same weaknesses over and over again. But I can't remember a player that
so many are prepared to get rid of, based on so few mins of football and worst still, he actually looked decent in the little we saw of him. He's spoken about like he's been a flop. We had lots of players that have come in and struggled with injuries, restricting their game time, Lamela being a good example, but none that I remember being written off due to it.

I just have no desire to give him the time or the goodwill.
That's fine and it's up to you.
I'd like to see a little more of him playing football first, before I make my mind up on him.

I couldn't care about his race, religion, political view or anything else, as long as he's not racist, homophobic, a complete dick, inflammatory etc, I only care about what he can do for us on the pitch and I've not seen enough to make a clear judgement yet.
