I'm so so happy for him. Despite not having the most successful of loans he will still have gained valuable experience. Harry Kane was another one that had several less successful loans and came back to Spurs to score in the Europa League. I don't know what is going to happen with the Tel deal, but I would not mind our striker options to be Solanke, Richarlison and Scarlett. We are in more need of a right winger and left back.

That goal could be the catalyst that sees Dane become a 1st team player. Thrilled from him, especially after all the loans that didn't pan out. Hope he takes his opportunity.

You are correct, but that’s not how we work.

People tend to forget that despite some difficult loans, he has risen to U21 international. He is still a very good prospect

Interesting to see him get on ahead of Lankshear. Took his chance alright

There is year between them, Dane is U21 international with loads of experience on competitive games.

Will will go on loan now, would like it to be Orient

Goal and an assist off of the bench, can't say fairer than that. Must have been incredibly cathartic for him considering how his season has gone so far, and can only hope it can kick him on from here for the rest of it whether with us or elsewhere.

Seemed a bit downbeat in celebration when he scored. Probably more relief as he hasn’t scored a goal for us despite having some games. Very happy for him, a good honest kid who even people like Mourinho rated.

Ajayi is a right winger so we’re sorted now.

It’s a shame for lankshear but it makes sense to play Scarlett and let lankshear go on loan

I think in many ways this is a good thing. Seeing Will Lankshear play first team football will be excellent too.
I am not sure what impact Dane can have for us but what a night for him. There must be a player in there.

Delighted he got his goal, and even more so that his build up play looked so good.

By no means saying he should start on Sunday, but his final third movement gave us a lot of energy and I think his finishing could prove to be top level. Be lovely to see him get some decent game time for the rest of the season.

Put a pound on him to score the winner in the league cup semi 2nd leg

Unfortunately Dane played for Oxford in early round of league cup so not available for Pool match.....or fingers crossed the final!
