Giovani Lo Celso has returned early to Hotspur Way after being withdrawn from the Argentina squad due to a hip injury.

The attacking midfielder sustained the injury during his national team’s match against Chile. He will now undergo a period of rehabilitation and is expected to return to training with the first team towards the end of October.

Glad we got to see him play for a few minutes before the inevitable injury curse struck.

So far, this season, the following have been injured:

Davies
Dier
Sessegnon
Foyth
Aurier
KWP
Ndombele
Lo Celso
Alli

An entire outfield team of starters. Absolutely cursed.

So much for the new signing effect at the beginning of this season. Won’t see all three fit until November!

FFS, bloody hip took Lamela nearly 2 years to recover from and pretty much ended Dembele. Hopefully be back in October

They had to switch Lamela's legs over in the end.
At least we know what to do this time round.

Funny how now every player we signed in the summer has been injured. Wonder how their medical went when we signed them ?

TBF Sess was injured when he arrived.

Yep he was which was why Levy brought him at the last min (Did not want to pay full wages for an injured player apparently) Just seems strange that everyone we brought has suffered from something in their beginning weeks.

App says doing on field rehab. Usually 2-3 weeks from there if not sooner.

Well that lines up a little with what was said when he was injured. End of October , so maybe a bit earlier.
Argentina play Germany on the 9th of October. Knowing our luck he'll get called up for that
