For me thats worrying when the Captain says, “There is one club who sets out to win every competition in which they play, and that is not the case with Tottenham." The desire to win every competition we're involved ought to be the aim for us, if we're to still consider ourselves a big club.

I'm not saying that we need to haemorrhage Man City money each season, however, with careful research into emerging talents we can build a very capable squad. Couple this with the sound analysis of players the super-rich don't see having a future at their respective clubs, we can do truly great things.

We need a better transfer strategy than the 2 x models of either spending horrific amounts of money, or none at all like we did.

We can do better.

I think the only clubs that can dare to claim to be in everything to win it are the mega spenders.
The teams with 25 internationals. Subs on £200k a week that would walk into most teams first team.

We aren't that and don't have the resources to win all 4.
As it stands, we don't have the resources to win any :ROFLMAO::cry:

I think it's realistic to challenge for the league and a cup but we need to spend money to improve the squad.

How is that worrying? lol He's literally saying what everyone else has been saying for the past few years, it's encouraging that everyone recognises that we need to spend to keep up.

I dont believe there is any club that doesnt , "set out to win every competition in which they play" surely any club with that attitude to any competition are doomed from the start?!
