When we broke on them we looked clueless. City and Liverpool are deadly when they counter.

Jammy ****s of the highest order. They didn't deserve to win that

That's football. Across the season, luck makes a big difference. Liverpool seem to get more than their fair share.

We also have to look at our inept finishing. He's literally the last player you'd want in that position but even then, how did Sissoko not score?

World Cup winning captain, I'm so disappointed.

He dropped a clanger in the world cup final! I've never seen a player make so many fucking mistakes and seemingly be immune to criticism. He has 1 great game every now and again and people start rolling out the 'best keeper in the league' shit. One of about 6 first teamers who need replacing, but obviously won't be

Love the way we spaz chance after chance away missing by inches, they create fuck all in the second half yet we score for them through our WC winning captain GK and our Too Good For Us CB.

Fucking Spursy. Doesn’t matter who we buy we’ll always infect any top player with failure disease.

Well at leat we didn't get battered like you predicted pre-match!!!

I'm sure we would be having it at some other stage of the season or coming seasons though and that's the problem, a mistake from him is always around the corner, especially in these big matches.
Absolutely - I wasn't exonerating Lloris here as i'm well versed in his many, many fuck ups just that our continued profligacy in and around the oppositions penalty box is a massive factor in us not picking up points as well

If as a player you can play abysmally across so many games with no fear of being dropped this what you get. Lloris/Trippier/Eriksen have been shocking across more than just one or 2 games yet continue to be picked. It sends the wrong message to the rest of the club and it sets the tone mentality wise.

There is no way Lloris should be in goal for any match unless Gazzaniga gets injured. Lloris has cost us at least 5 goals due to personal mistakes. He was responsible for their 1st goal with that horrible "pass" and then managed to drop a ball that u10 kids won't drop. There is only so much loyalty you can give out until it becomes a one-way street. In the last 2 season, he has had maybe 2 or 3 matches of world class level the rest have varied between average to catastrophically abysmal. Time to drop him and ship him off and take that captain armband away as well.

They wern't lucky, we had chances to win but were let down by really poor finishing and Lloris really is not top class anymore, Poch needs to tell him this but of course won't do anything of the sort.

Lack of belief.

Not sure it’s just belief. I just think as a club we are not conditioned to win things. We’re always “punching above our weight” etc. Which may well be true, but demand for the highest standards at crucial times is not there.

Disagree. I thought we were growing in confidence and were threading passes together really well.

It was only Sissokos 'finish' and Roses crap cross that screwed things up and if Sissoko had have put that away we'd likely be talking about an impressive win.

Don’t think it was about that today.

It was just ANOTHER individual mistake.

We’ve been gifting goals for (no) fun lately.

Also sucks that our big chance to win it fell to Sissoko. His energy made it to be fair but the guy just can’t finish. Keep your cool and pass in it. BOOM, high and wide.

Liverpool take their chance and Sky Sports can purrrrr themselves silly.

WTF!?!
That fast counter that led to the delicate chip by Danny Rose that narrowly went over the bar was anything but clueless...

We HAVE to get a goalkeeper in the summer.

Amount of goals he costs us is criminal. He's shite
He’s not going anywhere.

We’ll probably sign Grealish to replace Eriksen and haggle over Sander Berge before losing him to West Ham who offer 3 million more than us. But somehow this will be a good thing

Sissoko absolutely ran that second half, but if you can’t finish that chance, what’s the fucking point?

Virgil van dyke knew he had one job there- stop Sissoko from passing to Son. That moment was embarrassing to watch.

Yeah, really cringe to watch back. As soon as VVD opts to block the pass to Son you see Sissoko slow down and shit himself, and Van Dijk is just chilled, knowing the finish ain’t gonna come.

Great decision from Van Dijk but embarrassing for Sissoko that he’s able to make that call and not look an absolute fool.
