Is it not possible that the club are just releasing tickets in blocks - same as they did with Wembley upper tiers at times. They would rather fill half the stadium in solid blocks than all blocks only 50% filled.
I dunno... I can't get a ticket anyway, so it's irrelevant to me.

last night the 2 spare tickets showing on the map, where both in the upper tier

Just be informed by somebody that will know that there will be 4 screens on the pitch. And each stand will have an equal view.

Plenty of seats still available but it does look as though the sale has got quite well so far.
Don't think that every seat is available , the rear rows of upper tiers east west & north are all greyed out plus some in south back rows, find it hard to believe all those seats have sold as views of the four corner screens are not great from very back rows, alright for match highlights but not for watching a complete game . Even with screens on the pitch I wouldn't want to be right at the back.
Good chance it will go to guest sale which should take up the rest of the available seats.
Expect match will also be on concourse screens as well so could be more crowded on the concourses than in the seats.

I have membership but i want to bring a friend with me. Dilemma for me - should i buy the ticket now

Looking at availability today it looks like you should be ok but you Could always buy one ticket that isolates another seat on its own and then keep your fingers crossed that no one wants to buy a single seat so that you can get it later?

Lets hope they make it to general sale so I can buy more than one

It definitely won't go general sale, they said that in an email, but guest sale might happen, but I think the chances of sitting together may be slim

Ticket office really should be more open about this ticket sale . Blocks 114-118 all greyed out, this is normally the away section of 3000 seats but it looks as none of the seats have been made available in those blocks . Virtually every other lower tier block has available seats so why not those blocks, so very unlikely 114-118 sold out just not made available so far..

I'm not having a pop at non hotspur + members as I hope its a sellout and a great atmosphere, but there really needs to be more communication from the club about how the 2 tiers work. I know a couple of guys who got on later yesterday and bought single tickets in different areas as they thought it was selling out, if they new A LOT of tickets had been held back then they would have waited until today and got better tickets.
Is it soo hard for the club to announce that say 30k will be released on Wednesday to hotspur + members and then the remainder will be held back until the next day, rather than playing a guessing game of will there/ won't there be tickets available??
Our communication department, particularly regarding tickets is abysmal.

Absolutely

yes we happy to be there but yes they cud have handled it so much better

Can anyone explain the difference. Surely a GUEST SALE means a member can buy multiple tickets for people without memberships, whereas GENERAL SALE is literally anybody buying a ticket.

Some people on here seem to be getting needlessly worked up when, as long as you have a membership, you can buy your mum and little brother a ticket.

Am i wrong?

You are correct. The only thing that hasn't been explained by the club is how many guest tickets you can buy per membership.

it demanded a membership number from me for each ticket and wouldn't let sale go through without that..and wouldn't let me buy more than one in my own name

We are currently in a membership priority window. If we don't sell out in the next day or so the club will activate guest purchases for what is left.

Why are you worrying mate ? Being up in the gods will get a better view of the huge screens on the pitch anyway. Being lower will be slightly harder to see, especially if you are behind the goal. Where ever you are, you will get a great view of either the 4 big screens in the stadium corners, or the 4 screens on the pitch. Stop panicking mate.
