Levy had two jobs this summer: Keep Poch happy, and, Deliver a new stadium. How he has managed to fuck up both, I'll never know.
Amazing what a Cambridge education will get you nowadays. Despite all the things that Levy and ENIC have done for this club, they will be remembered more for the determined monumental fuck ups they have done. The minute they sell can't come soon enough for me. Time for the gatekeeper to hand over the keys.

I've always wanted us to develop players and bring them through and grow/improve that way

That would be the dream, wouldn't it? Players that have been brought through firmly attached to the club like family. Ones that you know when they tap the badge on the shirt mean it. Years ago that would be such a thing, now it is who you can bring in for £60m plus if you want to be considered on the same level as the ones who are winning.

Some how DL has managed to turn all the positive feelings around the club into a massive negative in the space of four or five months. From not signing anyone in the summer to the issues with the stadium to he fasical situation of playing a home game at a netrual venue it seems to be one pr disaster after another. Always said when Levy fucks up he does in style only have to look back throughout his reign to see this. Complete joke the amount of money he is paid completely undesvered at the moment.

Good luck asking us fans to pay the highest season ticket prices in the premier league if there is no champions league football next season, no Potch and a whole host of our star players leaving as they can double/treble there wages else where and actually play for a club with ambitious owners who actually want there clubs to win trophy’s and have success on a regular basis.

We need new owners and thats the bottom line. We will never progress to the next level while ENIC owns this club. Ive always thought they’ll sell after a year or 2 in the stadium but im afraid we cant afford to wait that long anymore. Need new owners in by January 1 so they can splash the cash and attempt to undo the damage done by Levy’s calamitous summer. Maybe it’ll help make top 4, maybe it wont. But at least they’ll have tried and may have shown enough ambition to keep some key players here.

Did anyone really believe that Levy would back Poch this summer?, did anyone really believe the stadium would be ready when Levy said it would?, did anyone really believe that season ticket/ticket prices for the new stadium would reflect the affordability of the majority of fans, most of whom can't afford it now?, we've seen it all before with Levy, but we still expect, more in hope, that he'll change, Levy, Lewis, ENIC, they don't give a shit about you, me, Poch, Kane or Spurs, all they care about is how much money they can make from our club!!!

Im not saying I’m happy with ENIC but the stadium is an immense legacy. To have built such a quality stadium on the same site is something we should be forever grateful to levy for. Even Abramovich hasn’t managed it. For all the mistakes, they have left us a world class infrastructure and made us highly attractive for the most serious investors.

This is true but it can be so much more for our dear leader.

Just a push in the TM here and there. You know, like occasionally paying over the odds for that one player, special to us. For example, Martial - he was worth £75m to us this summer for the on and off contribution he could have given us. Signing him would have lifted Poch, the players and us fans.

Towards the end of last season I was having cold sweats at nights about the prospect of us potentially losing out on CL qualification... The pressure of not having CL in the new stadium would weigh heavily on a potential sponsor, best players renewing contracts, new prospects coming in and Poch staying to finish the job.

But somehow, even after guaranteeing CL, the club has managed to fuck the rest up.

Stadium stalled due to poor management/oversight of critical systems prior to installation.
No sponsor for the Stadium
Only a couple of high profile players renewed contracts.
No new players signed
Poch seemingly losing his ability to keep the team on track

The worst case scenario that could easily end up being the case is;

We move into New stadium after we are eliminated from CL (I dread to think what opposing fans will say after those Tube posters)
No sponsor due to lack of high profile CL
remaining high profile players refuse to renew their contracts
Crap/incorrect players signed in Jan window
Poch leaves by the summer

Now, forgive me for being the ever-pessimist, but its amazing how easily things can shift. With the right players brought in over the summer most of those points could easily have be erased - and even though the stadium wasn't ready in time, that could have been forgiven with the team hitting the ground running. And vice versa, if the stadium was ready in time the massive positive energy it would have brought would have been so important with no new players brought in.
But having no new players and no date in the very near future when we could move in, its actually killed any momentum we may have had this season.
To me, it feels like the 2 most important critical areas that were so obvious we ignored or missed by Levy. Too many things to juggle? The bottom line is, his job was and is to make sure the club is on the right course and he has failed badly at a critical juncture.

Of all the praises he has gotten (I personally don't see what he has done that's amazing other than penny pinch deals to make profits) I feel he has shown his true weakness with these 2 glaring mistakes. And At City, Chelsea, Liverpool and even Utd, those errors would never have happened, because their Club owners/leaders have plenty of staff to handle each critical component that's vital for success. Levy by single handedly trying to do everything has shown that handling too much causes you to drop the ball. And he has - big time!

What I wish more than ever is that we are bought out ASAP and Levy is out. then give Poch 1 season with any players he wants and if we don't win a major trophy in that 1 season (League Cup not included) then replace Poch too.

I think we missed the billionaire boat tbh. Besides, can you imagine any potential suitors trying to negotiate for the club with baldy and old Lewis? They must REALLY ...REALLY want to buy us. But why would they? They could take on someone like Newcastle for a fraction of the price.

Enic legacy, is that they invest 50 million in the club and they want over a Billion pounds for club. while literally failing at every hurdle. This will leave the club with a massive debt.
Abramovich will leave Chelsea with 4 titles, 5 fa cups ,3 league cups, one uefa cup and a champion league.
id settle for one title and the old WHL.
