my view is that they will not have fully monetised the stadium until they have an NFL franchise, and there's little hope of him selling before then. The least us fans can do is make it as uncomfortable for him and the board in the stadium as possible, but we dont seem to have the stomach for that

Yep & it’s truly baffling, I guess we’ve become numb to the misery.

The issue is our World Class stadium there is no more “we are the shelf side”, “we’re the Paxton”, etc. and therenforce “we want Sugar out” ringing around the ground ( replace with Levy). My view is the atmosphere has nose dived the last few seasons bar Ange’s initial appointment , the stadium doesn’t rock on a European night and I cringe when our media team comes up with something to show on the big screens before we play the scum, Chel$ki or more recently the bindippers.

As mentioned numerous times on this thread real fans are now priced out or replaced by tourists or worse still away fans ……. although I remember going to Luton during the period they banned away fans …… so pot kettle

Not saying that I wouldn't have preferred better players to replace those we sold, but it's very difficult to replace world class players with other world class players, even for the elites. Who did Barca replace Messi with? United, when Ronaldo left? PSG replaced Mbappe with who? Pretty much like everyone else, the only way we can adequately replace those top players is by signing players with the potential to become world class, and hope they do.
But that is the problem because we don't sign those players with that potential to replace them. Like with Walker we replaced him with Trippier (who was 2nd choice) and used KWP as backup from the academy. With Kane we didn't go and sign a prospect up top, or even just Solanke level forward. I agree we won't sign world class and need to sign more potential for world class but at least someone high level. We just don't seem to do that enough. It's like who did we sign the summer before Dembele went, we got Sissoko and he isn't potential to replace him. Then 6 months after Dembele left we sign Ndombele who maybe we saw as potential but should be signed at least 18 months sooner if you want him to settle and be ready to replace him. It's because we need to give the prospects time that we should have them in before say a player like Son declines. It's not even that they need to become world class because those will be few and far between and could be in different positions. It's that we seriously downgrade a position when we sell a world class player. For example if we got a Porro to replace Walker that would have been fine. He's not as good but he is very good and has potential to get better.

It's a 62k stadium and there are plenty of home fans. A lot of them are just not making the noise now. You get the Park Lane chants and about 6 people sing Shelf side ones. I don't think the issue is lack of home fans, I think it's lack of belief now in the team. Too long under Levy ultimately. I genuinely believe it's why we never get any pressure on him in numbers. Most of the fanbase are defeated or deflated by it all now. That's the sense I've felt when I go to games. Plenty of fans around me just not singing. The tourist and away fans only occupy a small percentage, there's plenty of home fans about to make noise. Park Lane is generally the one making noise I guess mostly ST holders sat there but they do seem to be the ones trying.

It's always been parklane and shelf side making the noise as long as I've been going.

I think back to the city home game and it was loud. I think we need more to get behind these days to make noise. Most people have a funk with levy like you say and a lot are clearly disolusioned.

Hopefully Liverpool game fans will show up. Need more general sale tickets so those that really appreciate go, rather than those that are doing it as a chore or out of habit

I am East Lower and all I can say is whilst I recognise ( and drink with) a baker’s dozen of fellow season ticket holders we are regularly surrounded by Son fans and away fans - even Roma infiltrated our block

Anyone get/respond to the latest fan survey?

I went both barrels for the club with my answers. Basically stated that the clubs focus is more geared towards tourists and entertainment rather than making it a footballing fortress.

I also believe that the sell on system needs to be changed. Too many people don’t actually use their season ticket and just post their tickets for each game. I completely understand if there’s a genuine reason for not going but maybe there should be a limit on the amount of times you can sell your seat.

This way you’d get more people at the games who genuinely want to be there and support the team rather than just a mixture of tourists and away supporters.

Selling on the exchange only gives you a credit to use on the following years ticket, I have so far failed to sell my Brentford and Newcastle tickets and I cannot go tomorrow night as I am typing this whilst jet lagged in Manila ( I would give my ticket to a genuine Spurs fan for free)

My point is though many season ticket holders don’t go to home games, they collect the loyalty points each year but post them on the exchange.

These tickets are being bought more and more by tourists and away fans who will purchase a membership to gain access to these seats.

The club gets their money no matter what but there needs to be more emphasis on getting genuine Spurs fans in those seats, thus creating a better atmosphere.

Classic levy really. Has replaced anyone that isn’t on his team.

Seems like lots of fans are fed up with their club’s stadium being turned into a tourist attraction

So true

And a shame, these "in it for the money" people are going to destroy their own product.

One of the most unique things about the English game was the tribalism and the atmosphere, that is dying by the week.

I would much rather take my son to a lower/non league game at the moment.

Other fans get it and realise we are being led up the garden path and taken for granted.

Apologies, I know this has been mentioned before regarding the ticket availability for tomorrow night, the majority of seats in the top tier of the North Stand are still unsold.

Had a look on the official ticketing site and images like below are replicated block by block with rows of available seats in green. Even priced at £10 for kids and £37 for adults.

It’s most definitely getting caught on by other fans as a big discussion point. One of my colleagues at work is a Sheffield Wednesday season ticket holder and was saying exactly the same thing with our stadium and the pricing in general. Also admitted it’s become a thing for non Spurs fans to have the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on their bucket list to visit even if their team isn’t involved.

For a semi-final (and for a club starved of recent success) that is utterly embarrassing. You can't even use the price argument on this one as £37 seems good value.

And we joke about City's empty seats...

I know one doesn’t pay to go and watch a guaranteed win but the lack of take up suggests, no it’s not good value. IMO it’s not good value, call me a glory hunter (following this club lol) but Im sad to say I see almost zero chance of us progressing over 2 legs. This is directly due in large part to the abysmal squad building of the board. If they won’t invest I won’t invest, emotionally or literally with my dough. The saddest thing is I won’t be particularly gutted if we go out meekly, it’s absolutely water off a ducks back to me under levy and Enic, seen the movies a thousand times thanks.
