They are an atrociously run club. Woodward and the owners are the real problem. They’ve spent loads of money but have no real strategy. No leadership. Plus signed a load of average players and then overpaid contracts on existing players. Ole is a symptom not the real problem but he will of course carry the can. He should never have got the job in the first place.

Rashford 300k a week? Lmao.

They can appoint whoever they want as a manager, no one will be able to rebuild that club with Woodward in charge. A cup here and there maybe, but no new Fergie era.

It’s starting to annoy me that people keep mentioning about Mourinho and his meltdown at Man U but never mention his circumstances and Woodward. There’s a reason he said that finishing second with Man U was one of his biggest achievements.

His contempt in front of the CEO is the most shocking part. I can't imagine any of ours would dare try that kind of thing in front of DL.

Erm he isn’t actually doing anything is he aside from talking to the goalkeeper next to him?

Unless you’re being sarky lol.

Shows the childlike mentality of some footballers. What a thick twat.

Someone had a look at the full picture. Seems like Woodward was probably talking to a woman next to Jones.

He's obviously doing enough to make EW tell them to shut up/stop it, and the next time the camera pans to him they've been moved.

Rashford "I'm a number 9"
Martial "I'm a number 9"
Lukaku "I'm definitely a number 9"

Just watched the Mourinho punditry from Saturday. Is it any wonder he failed at United? He's believing (rightly IMO) that Rashford is better from wide, yet you've got 2 players kicking up a stink cause they don't want to play the wide role.

Imagine if United had allowed Jose to sell Martial and buy Toby. I think they'd have started to move in the right direction. But their fans and Woodward were too adament that Martial had to stay.

The club have put themselves in a very fragile position. They decided to support Ole and give him the keys on absolutely no evidence he could be a success.

He's downsized the squad so much that it's marginally better than Leicester's, they've got rid of all the big players (ok some of them had to go) but it now means that should they have to fire him it'll be hard to pull in an Allegri, etc. Due to the inadequate squad.

They will be reluctant to sack him but they've kind of backed themselves into a corner as it now has to get really bad before they can take action. So bad that it could be very damaging.

I don't think the downsizing will matter to anyone that they bring in. As long as they get the money to bring in the players that they want they won't care.

Solskjaer’s Man United record in his first 27 PL games is identical to Mourinho’s record in his last 27.

Solskjaer's record in the last 27 Premier League matches has seen just 14 wins, six draws and seven defeats. Not ideal for a club chasing Champions League football.
Incredibly, that form is identical to the last 27 Premier League games United played under Mourinho. The Portuguese took charge of 14 wins, six draws and seven defeats in his final 27.

Mourinho made things more difficult for himself than he had to by being petty and spiteful with everyone, but I think it's generally accepted that he wasn't the true cause of Man Utd's woes. Until they get a proper team in place between Woodward and the manager to manage the football side of things, it won't matter who is sat in the dugout.

I think Mourinho got decent results at Utd but he didn’t inspire confidence that he would bring them forwards.

Fans like to think things will get better and if they lose hope the manager finds himself in trouble.
