Their upcoming fixures are as depressing for them as their finances:

Liverpool (H)
Brighton (H)
Man City (A)
Liverpool (A)
Southampton (H)

I see 1, maybe 2 points out of that

Why stop there, it's Arsenal, Wolves, us and then Chelsea after those! They are as good as down.

Brighton is a must win for them or else they'll likely be cut adrift by the fifth game.

Nothing to see here, they have the smartest business woman in the business who will duck any responsibility should it all go tits up.

Quite honestly that is fucking sad (and I hate West Ham). The very soul of a football club has been ripped from it just for the sake of the owners making money. Thank fuck we didn't go down that road.

Compared to The Tottenham Experience the West Ham match day experience sounds like a terrible birthday present to give someone going by that description!

Bang on.

The fact that it's West Ham adds a massive dose of schadenfreude. I'd feel real sorrow if it were any other club (other than the Arse or Chelscum)

Can’t help but feel sorry for the fans reading that.

Modern football really is a bit shit. Chancers like Brady, Sullivan and Gold ripping the heart out of a football club for their own gain.

Not sure why people are concerned. If debts get out of hand they can always remortgage the stadi.... oh.

Come on now, be fair.
They oversaw the most successful stadium migration in the history of the game yet they get no credit for it whatsoever.

They actually put this in their accounts statement :ROFLMAO:

“We have also now obtained the claret pitch surround which we had been striving to install since we moved into the stadium. This has really improved the look and feel of the stadium.”

Their accounts always read like a 12 year old has written them

Decent read this, all is not well for West Ham.

Thank Christ we didn’t move there. I mean Levy at least knew he had to knock the shot hole down and build a proper football stadium but even so just that stuff about walking to the ground. We still have that all of it and it matters.

That for me was one if the reasons I didn’t like Wembley and am also so glad we are still in the same place, it just always felt like a friendly game on the way there.

The area matters every bit as much as the ground itself imo.

I was chatting to a Liverpool fan the other day who was moaning about our place looking like a spaceship that landed in the wrong part of town. He didn’t get it. Sure it’s shiny and new but being bang in the heart of the community is what football clubs are all about.

I wonder what their fans said when Barry Hearn said that West Ham moving into the Olympic stadium could kill Leyton Orient.

They have been mismanaged, asset stripped and are circling the drop.

I really hope they go down and into free fall to League 2. Obnoxious owners, mostly obnoxious fans and some truly scabby players.

Enjoy that claret carpet!
