Season ticket prices gone through the roof. Some U16 up 100 % ?

Was inevitable at some stage. They've been selling them for massively bellow what they should be to try and "ease" the transition to the new stadiujm. The trouble with that tactic is that once you do go back to normal pricing it looks like a massive piss take.

They were so cheap I know a West Ham fan in the US who has had 4 season tickets since they moved to the new stadium because it's worth his while paying the 100 quid each or whatever itis to then be able to go whenever he's over visiting family twice a year etc.

West Ham striker Andy Carroll, whose contract expires in the summer, could have played his last game for the club after suffering an ankle injury which could mean the 30-year-old misses the rest of the season.

He has completely mugged the spammers off. Made a career of being highly paid and injured.

Couldn't have happened to a better club. Although not on the same pay scale Sicknote Anderson did that at Spurs.

Some players are just unlucky with injuries. I always had the impression that Anderton and other players like Michael Owen were very professional, but their bodies just couldn't cope despite their best efforts. With Andy Carroll it seems like his body somehow manages to get fit once a season despite his lack of professionalism.

Difficult to see who his next club be. He wont want to take a drastic pay cut, and will probably deem himself too big for the Championship, but I can't see any PL clubs taking a punt on him.

I think Carroll will retire or go back to Newcastle. He clearly doesn't give a shit about his body and having a professional lifestyle so it's either a last hurrah in his home town or fuck it, I've earned enough and can't be arsed any more.

Don’t be ridiculous.

AnderTon played way more games for Spurs and deserves a little more respect given what a quality player he was.

Comparing him to Carroll who can’t even complete two games in a row is an insult.

They've mugged themselves off to be honest. When you sign players notorious for being unprofessional and injury prone, you can't then moan when they're injured and unfit all the time. That's the gamble you take. And they clearly haven't learned from the Andy Carrol saga because they went out and bought Jack Wilshire of all people last summer. No sympathy whatsoever for them. They knew the risk they were taking with both players.

Someone on here said he’d fucked off to Dubai or something for a holiday without spammers permission.

Wonder if that contributed to his injury?
