Their Chadwell Heath training ground is next door to a secondary school, but they don't share premises at all. I should know, because I went to that school myself.Don’t they share a training ground with a primary school? Not sure thats the best idea.
You're not the only one. I thought he had some potential when I first saw him 10 years ago (or whenever it was). If he'd had a Harry Kane type of attitude and the right coaching and guidance, he could have achieved something worthwhile. Instead...I will probably get laughed at, but I generally believe Carroll could have been an absolute beast if he would have applied himself
No no, I completely agree with you. He has all the tools but none of the mentality.I will probably get laughed at, but I generally believe Carroll could have been an absolute beast if he would have applied himself

Just heard carrolls in trouble. He went out sat night, got pissed and decided to jump on a plane to dubai, with his pals. Club didn't know and his wife didn't know....he should have been in training Monday.
I love it when my old man rings me with these stories. He can't get his head around how these players act these days.

He was already a beast at Newcastle. He dismantled the Championship when he was 20 or so, and was proving a right handful in the Premiership. The Liverpool move was wrong in every way possible, and just handed fame and wealth to a daft lad from Newcastle. The waste of potential and talent there is shameful.I will probably get laughed at, but I generally believe Carroll could have been an absolute beast if he would have applied himself

I mean, please don’t just leave it there…
This is insane if it’s correct. Upton Park compared to LS. View attachment 46501
I see that and think, "hmmm... we can fit another 100 thousand seats in that blue area"
